Some of the worst and overpriced Haitian food you’ll ever have. Needs to improve in service, lady begs for tips even though you’ve received terrible service and subpar food

Nice family owned restaurant with AMAZING food!! We have never had a bad dish. They are friendly, warm and you get great value and decent portions.

Authentic haitian food! Only haitian spot in san diego. Highly recommend...flavors like no other. I got the fried goat (Tasso) with white rice and bean sauce. Fried plantains and pikliz was delicious. The beef patties were also really fresh and flavorful.

The food was 7/10. I tried the fried pork which was good but the price for the food and drink was $30. Only a small portion of fried pork was served. I don't think I'll be returning again.

The wait time is incredibly long, even if you call in ahead of time. I do not have a problem paying for an expensive meal at all, but the prices are insane for the amount of food they serve you. I’ve been here twice and both times I’ve received about 3-4 pieces of the driest griot I’ve ever had in my life! Will not be revisiting this place.

Food was great. Loved everything. I ordered to go, griot & Lamb, it came out to just over $50 bucks and for $50 bucks I expect more meat! Both plate's protein portion was stingy! Mostly black rice (which was great, I was eating it still this morning ) but I didn't pay 50 bucks for three small pieces of pork and four small pieces of lamb and a shit load of rice. Probably won't return. Might give her one more try cause like I said the food was great.

I had a bittersweet experience at this restaurant. I ordered Soup Joumou, a traditional dish for Haitian independence. Initially pleased with the quality of their other dishes, I agreed to pay $150 for a large serving. However, I was disappointed when I found only three pieces of meat in my large order, which was insufficient for the 5-6 people I intended to serve. Despite the good taste, the lack of meat was a letdown, leading me to discard the rest. Next time, I'll just make it myself. What started out great ended up being a disappointing experience.

Most authentic Haitian restaurant I’ve seen in San Diego. The food is great, the service is very friendly. For a great mom and pop store, I would definitely recommend it.

Delicious and authentic Haitian food! The food and ambiance reminded me of the last time I had a meal in Port-au-Prince. The diri djon djon was fantastic and the griot and bunnun were not greasy. The pillow had great flavor and although it was not as spicy as I am used to, it went great with the meal. The service was fantastic, Phillipe even helped me bring my order out to my car. 10/10 would recommend to anyone craving a delicious Haitian meal or to anyone curious about Haitian cuisine. I promise you are in for a treat! I have found my new go to restaurent anytime I visit San Diego.

My brother and I visit about every month. I’m so glad we found this place ! It’s like going to visit your grandma for dinner. The food takes some time but when you get it, you will remember why you came ! The fried chicken with sauce and rice and beans are my favorite . My brother loves the fried fish .The one star reviews were clearly bitter customers.
