food was great, big portions (you might be able to split a plate, especially if you get an appetizer), fast service, and nice seating.Only 3 stars, though, because I was really looking forward to the Mariachi band, but they only played indoors when we were seated outside. I even asked a waiter if they would come outside, and he said they would. However, they didn't when we were there. They even went in the parking lot, but not in the back.I would suggest sitting inside if you go there as a result.

This restaurant exudes the classic Old Town San Diego vibe both inside and out. From the talented mariachi band serenading tables with random requests to the fantastic menu choices, dining here is a complete experience. My daughters ordered the Mole Enchiladas and Carne Asada Burrito, while I opted for the steak fajitas, and they all exceeded our expectations ?. The homemade soft tortillas added an extra layer of flavor to the dish. My Piña Colada drink was incredibly refreshing, and we finished off with their delicious fried ice cream, leaving us all super satisfied. The service was fantastic, and we're already looking forward to our next visit!

I like the atmosphere of this place, service was good other than waiting about 10 minutes to catch the waiter to pay my ? bill. My wife ordered the chicken tostada, very delicious, I ordered the carne asada tacos, tasty but hers was better. Only knock is it's getting a little pricey....our food and 2 waters and tip was almost $50.00. This place has been here a long time but, between Gavin Newsome raising minimum wage and Biden inflation it's no wonder everyone is leaving California. Thanks for listening and bon appetit ?

Classic Old Town San Diego vibe inside and out. From the talented mariachi band going from table to table playing random requests to the fantastic menu choices this place is a whole experience. My daughters got the Mole Enchiladas & Carne Asada Burrito, I got the steak fajitas and they didn’t disappoint ? their homemade soft tortillas really enhanced the dish. My PĩnaColada drink was very refreshing and finished off with their delicious fried ice cream assuring I left super satisfied. Service was fantastic can’t wait to come back!

This was a great dining experience when I got to visit casa Guadalajara. The ambience and service was top notch and so was the food itself, I got the mole poblano and it was great, rich in flavors and plentiful in quantity. The dishes are quite reasonably priced as well

My husband loves Mexican food so much. It's a little heavy for me, but I couldn't delay because I was hungry after golf. The live performance was great, and there were birthday parties here and there. I was prepared, but I was surprised again by the really generous amount. But I feel good to see my husband who is happy. I could hardly taste tortillas because I lacked salsa.

Food us Amazing and Restaurant is Beautiful. The night we were there they had A Mariachi band and was told we had a 45 minute wait but food is worth it and we stayed and it only took about 25 minutes. Definitely a must eat at if you haven't been

Food was great - steak, chicken, and shrimp all nicely cooked and flavorful. Portions almost too big. Service could have been a bit friendlier, but it was acceptable. We were happy overall, and would definitely come back.
