Great place to socialize with a group or casually grab a drink. Lots of locals which is cool. I like that it's easy to order a drink and there's a lot of indoor outdoor space. Plus there's pool tables!

Our bartender was quickand we had an overall good time drinking beer and playing shuffle board UNTIL we went next door to Long Story Irish Pub.Why would this matter?They both have the same security/bouncer.I am absolutely appalled at my experience at Long Story Irish Pub. We were greeted with a disgusted bartender in a red cap - younger woman with brown hair. She looked at us without saying anything and just waited for us to order (it was still slow). We ordered our drinks and she demanded our IDs. No issue. We just moved from out of state two weeks ago. She immediately left with my ID to the bar next door. She came back a few minutes later with the security/bouncer from Catalina and stated I had an obvious fake ID. Im 28, I’m IDd occasionally and don’t have any issues with it but I’ve never had this happen. They couldn’t explain why they actually thought it was fake. The bouncer couldn’t explain why he thought my ID was fake, but he was clearly infatuated by the bartender enough to go along with her. They attempted to retain my ID unless I presented my passport. My passport?! I told them I’d be calling the cops for theft if they didn’t return my ID. I’d much rather have the cops confirm the validity of my license than some angry college bartender and a dude with a black light. Immediately they returned my card and said I was being rude and loud (because I demanded my license back?!)The security guy came next door from the same place we came from earlier where we had a few beers and played shuffle board before our dinner reservation across the street. They didn’t have an issue before but now suddenly did because of this clearly inexperienced bartender.Disgusted with the treatment we received. I welcome the owner/manager to reach out to confirm this. I’ll happily return with my same ID and additional identification or to simply meet an officer to scan and confirm the validity. Do better, be better. If you don’t like what you do, find a new job - she clearly hated having to be there.Respond with a solution and I’ll oblige.

This is definitely a local watering hole. Has everything you would want in a bar. Crowd mixed with young and older so the jukebox vibe is diverse. Really quick and attentive bartenders. They make sure to say hi to everyone. The security is friendly and fair. Billiards tables that work and there is shuffle board. TV's all over for sports recaps (not sure if they have live NFL or NBA). Prices are fair for domestic, import, and craft beers as well as spirits. Not sure if they serve food. Be nice if they let out a bowl of peanuts or pretzels. Overall it's nothing fancy but if you're new to the area or in the area it's a fine establishment to hang out. I wouldn't classify it as a dive bar - too lively and clean for that rank. There is an Irish pub next door with pretty good food as well!

During half time my husband and his friend like to play pool and additionally they put out some good eats (for FREEEEEEEEEEE) - yesterday it was nachos, 7 layer dip, juicy full size hot dogs (not the cheapies) and some yummy cookies and cakes. I don't know any other bar that goes that far. OUT OF TOWNERS BEWARE!!! Do you hate the embarrassment of not getting in to bars? Do you hate when bouncers don’t know what they’re doing? This would be the place for you to not get service! Brought a brand new legit ID to this bar and the door man did not know how to prove that it was real because it didn’t “glow” the right way. Train your staff on the new IDs in the 50 United States (Yes there are more states then just California). Take your business to the Irish pub next door because this place obviously doesn’t want it.

Ordered a third bottle of Budweiser that's supposedly $4.50 but got charged $10.48 from my card and the blonde bartender still had the audacity to tell me the card declined and took back the bottle I already payed . . "overpayed" for. I kept trying to tell her that she overcharged me and she straight up ignored me until I left. She works there Wednesday nights. My friends also tipped her for their drinks and she threw back the tip very rudely because some of the tips were quarters. When I got there she also insisted that I go sing to the karaoke but i said no thanks I'm good maybe that's why she gave that attitude idk. Please pretty please fire that ratshit pigbitch super fckn rude blonde bartender
