This place is amazing!! Ordered chicken for the green curry and basil eggplant and it was so good. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for Thai food. The host was super nice to us as well and we got a nice sago desert for free at the end!

Stopped into this small restaurant/takeout place for an early dinner since we were craving some Thai food and many places were closed until 5pm. The restaurant was cozy and clean and the menus quite extensive. We were warmly welcomed by the staff, and seated immediately since the place was empty. But don't let that deter you from visiting this humble restaurant. We ordered pad see ew and khao soi. The spice levels ranged from 1-10, and I felt like the heat levels were pretty accurate. I informed the kind Asian auntie who took our order that I don't have a high spice tolerance, and so the khao soi was mild. This was my first time having khao soi, and it was amazing. We both definitely preferred it over the pad see ew (which was also solid). The broth was creamy without being heavy, lightly sweet and wonderfully balanced with the different garnishes. The pad see ew came out piping hot and cooked perfectly and seasoned well. The spice wasn't too much (level 5) either. We were also pleasantly surprised by the small cups of dessert they gave us after we finished our meal. It was a very lovely and sweet (haha) gesture. I definitely can't wait to visit again!

Love their vegetable curry puffs and pineapple fried rice! come all the way from Chula Vista just to eat here. No one less does it like Chana Thai! Small, clean and great service. Why go elsewhere?!

Really busy at 8:00pm on a Sunday! We grabbed Togo food and every single table was taken so we took it as a sign that the food is really good. We were impressed! It was pretty good Thai food and they do NOT mess around with the spice level. If you order it extra hot, it will be very very spicy. Yellow curry had a nice flavor but we prefer it just slightly sweeter. The pad Thai was delicious! We would come back.

It's a really nice hole-in-the-wall type restaurant where it feels like authentic Thai food straight from their home kitchen. The cream cheese rangoons were great as they tasted like they had some sour cream & onion in them as well. The pad Thai and drunken noodles were both great at a level 5 spicy. They were also very kind and gifted us a free coconut tapioca which was one of the best desserts I've ever had

Got the pad se ew. Was my first time eating there. Also got a Thai tea but there was a hair in the drink which I didn’t finish. They asked if I wanted to take the drink to go but wasn’t about to drink it after discovering the hair. The Thai tea is much more sweet and sugary than other restaurants, doesn’t have the milkness but still worth the taste. Also got the coconut ice cream which was a great order. Overall great place to go, just a hiccup on the hair but recommend going!

Small place with little sitting, inefficiently placed. After waiting for a while they sit other people behind me because they were two and I was by myself. Decided to walk a way. Poor service.

Average food.Paid $12 for spring rolls that were tiny and weren’t great. I don’t recommend the fresh spring rolls.Pad Thai was good.

Very good flavor. I had the fish cakes, nice golden brown and come with a fish sauce. I had the Khao Soi which is noodles in curry. I chose the chicken option. The noodles are crispy and twisty, which I liked because I wanted to try something different. The curry flavor was right on. Can't wait to come back and try some more dishes.
