This bouncer was an absolutely abusive jerk. Yelling at multiple people, threatening to kick the out for no reason. It was 7 PM and I was waiting to go in (completely sober, I don't drink) and he started talking crap about me to his friend. When I told him "you don't have to be a duck about it" he flipped out and said "you can't come in then, how about that?!? Welcome to OB!" (Ummmm, I'm from here bro). My brother saw him do some do something even worse the night before, grabbing a guy and yelling at him and threatening him. I hope this business replaces him with someone that cares more about their bottom line than using their position as a bouncer to power trip and abuse people. Also, I know FOR A FACT they serve underage with fake IDs. Absolutely saw it first hand from a 17 year old. But I suppose that is a plus for some people?

great place to drink ! gello shots at the beach! Angie always friendly making drinks with a smile , love her ! I highly recommend this place! even on a cloudy day its the best' Ocean Beach is fun , Do yourself a favor and get ur drink on ! they don't serve food but u can bring food in from many places near by.

It’s by the beach area a couple of drinks I had quite so far cause I came around 3:30 in the afternoon parking is across the street for 3 hrs

I regret to share my disappointing experience at this bar. The presence of a security guard with disturbingly biased behavior created an uncomfortable atmosphere for me and my female friends. It's disheartening to encounter racism towards white people and Hispanics, which goes against the principles of inclusivity and respect. Such incidents not only marred our evening but also highlight the need for urgent improvement in the bar's staff training and overall ambiance. I hope the management takes immediate action to rectify this issue and create a safe and welcoming environment for all patrons.

I was with a group of LBGTQ folks at THC for a queer event tonight and we came next door to play pool & continue our night. One of the employees was insanely condescending and rude to a friend because they used the men’s room. They obviously do not support diversity here, or instill it in their employees.

Ocean Beach reliable place.. other bars across the street and to the left and right are more expensive and are doing everything that they can to not be OB.. this place is the same as it was in the 80's when it opened..

Reasoning for my 3 stars is because of the security guard after sunset disrespected my wife when processed to ask her for her ID as she was trying to get it out of her purse, he was rude and told us to leave because she didn't take out the Identification cards in his timed liking. As we were walking away he proceeded to call her a "b**ch". What upset me most was we have been coming here for our drinks the last two last and it was a problem after sunset. The bartenders were amazing and kind the times before this. as a note, In my personal opinion as a security officer on the Las Vegas Strip. This man was profiling us because we were two lesbian females together.

We came to OB because we grew up here. We played a game of ball. The door guy came out and was such a j**** Come here alot never encountered such disrespect and embarrassment in my many years of travel and career bartending. Skip this bar. Doesn't offer much. Even for the biker community. Sad had people in town from the biker community to encounter the worst disrespect ever. How embarrassing. Ok. He approach us and apologized. It was the d*** guy we were joking with
