The ice cream was DELICIOUS! The service was great! The chocolate display was beautiful!

I had high hopes for this place. The chocolates were beautifully boxed up and looked delicious, but unfortunately tasted old and stale. Very disappointing -- a $40 gift that wasn't even tasty.

Cute, clean and pleasant little shop. The chocolate is SO GOOD. The ice cream is equally delicious. The peanut brittle is scrumptious as well. I very much recommend visiting if you prefer quality chocolate.

Photo taken while DRIVING because I literally couldn't WAIT to eat them! The milk toffee is my favorite, so I got two of those. I love really every single item I've gotten here. I don't typically enjoy dark chocolate, but I really enjoy it from here!!! Just get the eight pack - you will not regret it!!! I could eat this entire box in one sitting the owners are amazing people and generous, and all employees are really kind too.

We visited this shop for some chocolates over the weekend and came away pretty disappointed. There were only two young people working when we arrived, one of whom was being trained by the other. We weren't offered any samples and weren't given any sort of guidance about how the ordering worked beyond them saying hello and then staring at us. As we picked our chocolates we asked a few questions. My wife has a severe gluten allergy but they were unable to answer almost any questions about ingredients or allergens which was pretty surprising for a shop that supposedly makes its own products. The one thing they did tell her was that the lemon white chocolate she got did not have a cake or cookie inside, but when we got it home and bit into it there was a cookie layer in it so she couldn't eat that. Luckily she checked before taking a bite or she would have been ill for a couple of days. The employee also picked a box that was too small for the chocolates, got chocolate fingerprints all over the outside of the container and had to squish the box and use scotch tape to get it to close. The chocolates were fine but the experience was not what I'd expect for a place charging almost $4 a piece for chocolates.

This review is for the ice cream only. Flavors are nice, but the consistency is hard, icy, and not creamy at all. The ice creams feel as if they have been frozen for. Very long time T extremely low temperatures. The confections look lovely, but i am Uber to rate because we did not try them. The young women helping us was lovely.

Good variety of chocolates. I asked about ingredients and they showed me them and its a tiny list w/no hydrogenated oils or sea salt or even corn syrup. I picked out many, 8 for $20. Its a bit pricey, for more and more chocolate the price skyrockets. Worker bees are super friendly and professional!!

I usually just go to Sees but never again. Now I know what true quality is. I was given chocolates from here as a Christmas gift and I've never in my life had anything better. I can have one and they are so satisfying I usually have 4 from other chocolatiers. All I can say is I'm very impressed

I'm personally not a chocolatier, but I hardly ever visit La Jolla these days without grabbing a scoop of my favorite ice cream in the world - key lime! There's some graham cracker crumble mixed in which adds perfect texture to this already tasty treat. All their flavors i've tried are impressive by the way. I snuck a spoonful out of my daughter's strawberry--it tasted more strawberry than an actual strawberry. :)And this is not even labeled as an ice cream shop. And it was only $3 each cup - which was a medium sized scoop by any gelato/ice cream shop's measure. An unbeatable price!AND the server gave us complimentary chocolate dipped oreos!!!

Pete the owner has yummy offerings at this little gem on Turquoise. I had a much needed espresso and a chocolate dipped Oreo. My girls chose these adorable lollipops, and we were all very happy! Can't wait to try the ice cream!

My kids give me a couple of boxes of fancy chocolates for special occasions. For Mother's Day this is where they went. I really really wanted to like this place. But every piece had a floral/perfumey taste to it. I realize today that it comes from the container itself. Either the box, the brown filler, or the protective topper is scented, therefore transferring it to the chocolates. Gross! If I come here again, I will definitely eat the candy onsite. But seeing as I've had better, that probably won't happen. Otherwise, presentation was great and service was really good (per the husband and kids).

Got fudge-a-holics in the family--sent peanut butter, milk & dark chocolate fudge--thoroughly enjoyed by all. The Rocca is the perfect blend of crunchy sweet--addictive. Peppermint truffle@holidays also delicious--just right blend of chocolate & mint. It's a 30 minute drive from where I live, but worth it!

We had heard that this was a wonderful stop for a treat. It was rainy and we were cold and wet but decided we would brave the cold and get their ice cream. It was amazing!! So sweet and creamy!!! We had 12 in our group and tried most of the flavors. Everyone loved their choice. I also tried a dark chocolate turtle and it was delicious. If you are in the area, it is so worth a stop!!

They have the best homemade ice cream around.
