Apart from being an icon of San Ysidro, it is my favorite place to eat chicken! Only before it was very cheap and today it is a luxury to eat there! By the way, the benches outside are almost 30 years old there hahaha, they are already a world heritage site hahaha
There's only 4 tables inside but plenty of tables outside. Have been here twice and they were friendly both times. The chicken is delicious and crunchy. We always get the 2 or 3 piece combos, the spicy and original are both good.

Crossed San Ysidro border and wanted to get something quick to eat before going to a hotel. This is one of the only places open and it’s a window that you order at most of the food is pretty much ready just staying warm. Which was great because we were in a Uber. Friendly staff got three piece chicken combo with a drink comes with mashed potatoes and biscuit. Everything was very good.
