Honestly, had no idea Costco Food Court had its own Yelp page. This review is for the new Chocolate Chip cookie now for sale at the food court! My hubs and I were super surprised to see the new cookie option (which replaced the churro), which tbh, good riddance. The churro wasn't memorable and didn't taste particularly yummy, but what a deal. The Jumbo Chocolate Chip cookie will run ya $2.49. At first thought, I was like how big is this cookie, and does it just taste the same as the cookies they sell inside. Don't get me wrong, love the cookies they sell inside (a dozen+ for $10) but is $2.49 worth it for one cookie?! This cookie is huge. Actually had to split it between my hubs and I, over the course of 3 sittings. It's a thick cookie, and has that cookie smell. That warm, vanilla, fresh scent swirled around my nose. The cookie is not overly sweet and is definitely shareable. Well worth the money, and is good for bringing a few over to a party.

I had the absolute pleasure of getting Taylor at the Santee location today, which reminded me of my last few experiences at the Carmel Costco. 15mins to wait for a drink only and when the window person didn't greet me after calling my number (she was busy looking frantically at the tickets) she decided to speak for the sake of speaking, and ask me to remove the number I had laid down, from. The. Counter. First of all, you're wearing gloves. Can't "contaminate" you. Secondly, and this is what reminded me of it, Santee ASKED to take my ticket and disposed of it for me. PERHAPS if Costco Carmel, instead of inventing rules, minded their BUSINESS, not only would their service times improve, but so would their rating. Almost 20mins to get a cold drink in 100 degree weather is ABSURD. I shouldn't have to wait for everybody who isn't concerned about contributing to global warming to get their pizza. I also had to write in, because twice now I had people literally walk up to me and complain about my personal activities. Why does my whistling to a bird bother you?! I don't lecture you when you let wild children chase them into the road, though NO ONE likes it.

For members only but if you're not, you are missing out. The new Roast Beef sandwich is very good and large.
This location has the kiosk where you scan your membership card, and order what you want if you pay with your debit or credit card. If you want to pay cash, there is a line on the right hand side.They no longer offer the combo pizza, but the pepperoni and cheese option is still available in a slice (3.99) or whole pizza (9.99). The chicken bake is so small now, it is the same size as the hot dog.

On par with most locations, but mid week lunch time they ran out of pepperoni pizza. I don't think I've actually seen this happen at any location ever.
