I came here on a weekday with my dog around 4pm (before happy hour) and it was pretty dead. My dog and I sat in the indoor/outdoor area. Staff was nice and service was quick.I didn't get a burger, just the chili. I LOVE chili and have been trying to find the best chili in San Diego. I didn't see many chili reviews so I hope this helps someone. The chili had amazing flavor... like really good. It does have a bit of a kick, so this isn't for you if you can't handle mild to medium spicy.What brought the rating down was the consistency of the chili. It was literally like a soup broth with ground beef/bell pepper/black beans/chunk tomato. I included a pic for reference. I just cannot imagine they actually spoon this onto someone's hotdog or burger without draining the broth as much as they can from the spoon--it's that watery.It was honestly so disappointingly ridiculous. I also think they overdid it with the tomatoes and could have added more ground beef. Whoever made this, I hope you refine the recipe because it is SO delicious and has a ton of potential.

I went to Crazee Burger in a party of four and experienced extremely rude and terrible service. The man working at the counter initially told us we should seat ourselves and grab menus and someone would come to our table shortly to take our order. After twenty minutes of not being served and seeing other tables around us receiving their orders, my partner went to the counter to politely ask the man who seated us why no one was coming to take our order. The man at the counter then proceeded to ask them whether they were “stupid or blind” and that we had to order at the counter. We had no issue with ordering at the counter, but this was not the information we were told when we were seated. We quickly left the establishment after that rude interaction and will never be returning to Crazee Burger.

Never been so disappointed in a place. This place has so many cool options but it feels like a major money grab. Has the prices of full service sit down restaurant (burgers don’t come with fries and fries are $5 extra?) but is set up as a fast food order and sit style restaurant so they don’t have to hire servers. Paid nearly $40 for a burger, fries and a shake plus tip. And the sad part is… the burger wasn’t even good. The patty was spongy and the bun was dry and flakey and just tasted cheap. For a place that is literally just burgers you’d think it would be good. Another thing that made me cringe was on the kids menu they have 4-6 dino nuggets listed that were 100% just bought in bulk from a grocery store, throw in the fryer and just upcharged although this would be a better bang for your buck considering the kids meals actually come with fries. The shake at least was good. I don’t usually write reviews but this place just felt extremely greedy.

For 2 people it was $40+. I wouldn't complain about the price if the food was good, and it wasn't at all. The patty was bland and unseasoned at all, no flavor. The concept was unique in a way but the execution was horrible. We came here hoping it was good because of the reviews we saw but man oh man were we wrong. I can honestly say I wasted my money here. Plus the table was sticky, and area too was dirty, and fruit flys(nats) everywhere too. I felt like I was in LA. And the service and vibe was... Uninviting...to say the least.

Had the truffle burger and I am not sure what I ate - the burger patty was like one you get from the frozen section of your supermarket and not sure where the truffle taste went. Kind of a dead giveaway that this place is NOT packed.

Fabulous and unusual burger joint in North Park area of San Diego!!! Located on the street corner this beer plus burger restaurant has it almost all! Good location, great menu, delicious food, and lots of beers on tap!!! Crazee Burger is known obviously for its burgers!!! Besides the many choices of regular burgers, exotic fare burgers are what they are known for: boar, camel, alligator, ostrich etc etc.... Service is typical order at the counter, and ambiance of a bar or a fast food restaurant with non generic interior!! Burgers are hands down awesome!!! The only complaint I have is with service. After ordering double patty alligator burger for almost $30 I asked if there is a proof that it is indeed an alligator and not something else. I was told, there is no proof and if I don't like it to leave....well I stayed but still...why ruin a fabulous dinning experience with bad customer service...
