One of my favorite restaurants in SD. Not only are they fair with their wine pricing, but they also have amazing wines! The food is always fresh with great ingredient quality. The staff is extremely professional and the ambiance is always perfect whether you want to sit inside or out. The squash blossoms are one of my favorite dishes and we try to return to the restaurant on a semi regular basis. It is a San Diego staple that I highly recommend.

Overall so impressed with this restaurant! It is SO gorgeous inside with the tall ceilings and modern seating. Was a perfect setting for our 6 year anniversary! We started with the grilled octopus, the grilled oyster special and the baby gem salad! All the apps were so fresh. Then came this amazing pizza, which we did the Italian sausage + mushroom which was SUCH a good add-on for mushroom lovers! we would come back just for this pizza lol. We are big pasta people and the clam linguine was really refreshing and flavorful and the short rib papardelle was so rich yet also balanced so nicely with the carrot! not to mention their wine bottles are so reasonably priced! What's not to love

Ordered food to go: Had a late night craving for a dessert. Cucina Urbana delivered! Out of some guilt, I ordered a salad and some cooked veggies. The limoncello mousse tart and the chocolate budino. Ordered through Yelp. Happy with the late night craving and will continue to order more.. (it is my favorite lemon dessert!)

Just had new shutters installed by Josh of Avalon shutters. The first install the factory made a slight measure mistake.Josh cheerfully took down 2 rooms said it may take 2-3 weeks. Came today and installed pretty quickly. Josh was awesome. Cleaned up checked everything and was very polite, cheerful and gracious. Reasonably priced and I would use again. Cudos to Josh for having a wonderful polite worker !5 stars for Josh

My husband and I had dinner here last night. While the ambiance was lovely and the service was great, the food was a real let down. I got the spaghetti amatriciana and my husband got the short rib mafaldine. My spaghetti was like a soup. Super watery and not much flavor. The guanciale was rubbery as well:/. The mafaldine wasn't much better. The short ribs in it were good, but the pasta had zero flavor, and seemed just like an oiled noodle. The best part was the warm olives and truffle Parmesan fries. Definitely disappointed.

Urbana exceeded expectations with their mouthwatering burrito and delightful watermelon margarita. The burrito was packed with flavor and generously filled. Paired with the refreshing watermelon margarita, it was a match made in culinary heaven. The ambiance was inviting, and the service was top-notch. Our server was sooooo nice and helpful.
Nice fancy place! Surprisingly very fast service, only took a few minutes to get our food. The entire interior has a faint smell of truffles because truffle is an ingredient in some of the dishes, which makes the experience unique. Truffle can be added to ur dishes too. I also completely recommend the polenta

Cucina Urbana is, hands down, my favorite place to eat in San Diego. The Italian-inspired cuisine is exceptional, and the wine list is robust. The decor is modern but warm and inviting, and the staff always make us feel welcomed.

i sat at the bar with a couple of friends, the host was wonderful. Jesse was very kind and brought us to the bar. Bella was the most delightful and funny. We had a great night and the pizza was fantastic. Will definitely be coming back!
