I was thoroughly impressed by the unique ambiance, which seamlessly blends Indian, Middle Eastern and Western cultures. The restaurant's use of steel thalis for serving food, a tradition local to India, is a delightful touch that you rarely encounter in the United States. The Masala chai, while on the pricier side, was undeniably delicious, although it comes pre-mixed with a slight amount of sugar and lacks customization options. The outstanding customer service left a lasting impression; the staff's genuine friendliness and passion for their work made my dining experience truly memorable. Kristina was lovely and so was the dude at the bar. Don’t forget to checkout their unique collection of mixed drinks. My order was generously portioned, and the flavors were spot-on—I have no complaints there. Plus, parking was stress-free in this laid-back area with ample street parking. For a unique dining experience, I highly recommend reserving the indoor room next to the bar. There, you can enjoy your meal in the traditional Indian style—sitting on the floor with legs folded. Be sure to check out the picture of the room with its short tables and beds.Dietary restrictions: They will cater to your dietary needs.Kid-friendliness: It’s kid friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible.

White-washed and really overpriced/under-seasoned. I’ve been looking for my new curry spot since I moved to San Diego, and this ain’t it

I was curious about the name and really want to try out this spot. Love the cute set up and the mural art on the wall. Menu has a nice variety and there's something in there for everyone. Please have a nice ambience , cute decor and the service is good.I was super excited to try the food, but it was a little underwhelming . We had the curry fries, tandoori chicken, mixed vegetable curry, samosas slim, garlic naan, masala chicken, and masala chai.I'm giving the three stars because some of the food items were good but some were not . For example, the tandoori chicken had no flavor at all. Bought the chicken and vegetable curry dishes tasted the same. The chai masala, fries and samosas were good .

Ambience is amazing, it has pretty good retro vibes. Service is mediocre, music is very loud and I had to wait for a long time to get some water after I got my food. I ordered Indian steet corn, mango lassi, paneer vindaloo and mango lassi. Corn was ok, good attempt but not much taste. Mango lassi was amazing, paneer vindaloo was very bad - worse than the bottled sauce we can get from Costco , garlic naan also tasted weird. If you are looking for real Indian this is not one.

Just awesome food!! Almost exactly like how it is cooked in India. Was visiting from up north and was pleasantly delighted.

The 18% charge for a table of 5 seems to be some sort of punishment for bringing more business to the restaurant, for taking less space than 5 individuals would, for saving the waiter/waitress time and instead of going to several tables several times, they can go a few times to the same table.

3.5 stars... rounds up to 4? I guess? It's a cute place in cute South Park. Great atmosphere, colorful and airy. Really young clientele when we went, which was just when they opened. The food was decent, but not astounding. The tomato creme based dishes were notably thin and watered down, and the rice could have been cooked a few minutes more. The Naan was great though, as were the appetizers (Samosas and some potato pancake sort of thing, I think?).Service was a bit scarce, but the pleasant demeanor of the server easily made up for it. Also, note to Management: please inform the wait staff that providing the customer with a bill to review BEFORE they pay isn't some extraneous old-timey "boomer" thing, but a standard transactional necessity for customers. People need to know exactly what their bill is comprised of before they pay (you don't just verbally tell them a total and ask for a credit card). That's the point of bringing the bill first. It's in everyones' best interest to make sure there aren't errors! Thanks, Curiosity. We enjoyed ourselves!

Amazing food, decor and vibe. We ordered butter chicken medium spicy with naan. It was yum. Naan was freshly made. Also, they made us the custom drink Nimbu Pani with Vodka.
