They refused to service me during covid and were offering 10$ masks to get served. Covid is long time forgotten but I still never go here again.

I don’t know what all the fuss is about. They had only one coffee available for brewed coffee. They were nice and all and gave me a taste of it before ordering, and I did take the cup, but once I walked away with it, yuck.

Cannot recommend for anyone looking to buy just the beans from a Coffee Roaster.Unrelated to the product but still bugged me that the lazy Student behind the Register telling me that he is on break and I need to talk to his friend on the other side. Who takes a break behind the register counter?!? Largest coffee beans bag they sell is less was 0.7 pounds.?Price comes up to about $21/pound? No tag or sticker that showed the exact roasting date.? No option to buy larger quantity to safe a few bucks.

Good coffee, mediocre pastries -- the croissant cinnamon roll seems like it was a day old.

It's a good coffee shop, but what hasn't been mentioned is their decaf coffee beans. The Colombia Nariño is better than most non-decaf out there even at quality coffee shops. It's pretty consistent over time as well.

Haven't been to dark horse in a couple years and was previously my go to place. Decided to try it again because I was in town.Got a 12 oz salted maple latte ($5.50). Picked it up and it felt light but whatever.. got back to the car to open the lid to hopefully enjoy the foam 2 seconds later. Uhm... the foam is already degraded, not dense with latte art as if I already drank it. What?? That's disappointing. Looks like it has been sitting out for 5-10 mins but I JUST picked it up from the bar. How annoying

Often doesn’t carry the same whole bean coffee, and seems incapable of answering the phone…shop elsewhere.

Dark Horse revived my love for coffee. I love the vibe when you walk in to this sweet little shop. It's a nice and simple menu, with got damn good coffee, and amazing pastries. Not to mention, I have gotten the bagel more times than I would like to admit... SO GOOD. Hell, I loved the coffee so much, I even buy the beans to ensure if I don't have time to go in the morning, I make my own at home.Dark Horse over Starbucks, always.

Got the drip coffee, no cream. Coffee wasn't the best, but also not the worst. I asked for sugar in my coffee (since I didn't see any out) and was offered simple syrup as an alternative. Kinda hate when coffee shops don't let you add your own sugar and hold the packets hostage behind the counter.I ordered a toasted everything bagel with plain cream cheese. It was 7am on a Monday morning and they were out of plain cream cheese... they offered me vegan plain cream cheese or the garlic/herb one. I chose the latter. It was freezing cold as it just came out of the fridge (obviously). The bagel was "warmed," but not toasted as there wasn't even a speck of browning on it. So it didn't really help the cold cream cheese melt. I didn't even bother to finish it.The outdoor seating isn't the best, but it'll do for a quick drink and bite. All of the tables had morning dew on them. Would be nice if staff wiped down the tables at the start of each day. I had to grab a couple napkins and do it myself. All in all, I won't come back here when there are plenty other coffee spots in the area.

The barista working had a filthy t-shirt on with visibly gaping holes in it. Unfriendly, "you are interrupting my conversation with my co-worker" vibes as I walked in. Hot espresso pulls collected in a plastic measuring cup... the place feels and looks sloppy. Tossed the bitter espresso shots and drove to a different cafe. Will not be back- where have the standards gone?

Great coffee shop in the heart of Northpark! Used to be a regular staple when we lived here a few years ago and happy to say the quality hasn’t changed in two years! Fun vibe with great pastries and donuts! The donuts are vegan and really solid! You can buy beans to make at home as well!Vegetarian options: Vegan donuts are available.

Small coffee shop with no seating, perfect to get a fast coffee to go.Pleasant staff, clean shop, offers baked goods and swag items for sale.Their oat milk is not my favorite, but it’s acceptable.
