The brown sugar babo tea tastes pretty bad. It was good before but recently they add too many water and no milk taste at all. Never go back again.

Thought my wintermelon with chia seeds was ok. I personally preferred Meet Freshes. Still not bad state getting some Japanese BBQ.

Authentic Chinese boba tea with lots of interesting choices. I like the banana milk tea and many of the fruit flavors. Always fresh and tasty and good service.

Good but pricey. I got the pink beauty and my partner got the fresh fruit tea. At ~$8 and $9 each it's definitely on the high, high end of boba cost. We ordered through doordash and our order wasn't ready at the scheduled time which is a little annoying but they were busy. We got our drinks 10 or so minutes after the scheduled time. The actual drink flavor was really good! The pink beauty is a grapefruit drink with aloe and aiyu jelly. If you want a lighter drink, this is it. I got it with less ice and 30% sugar which was perfect. Strong grapefruit flavor. I liked the additional chew of the jelly too.My partner really liked his drink as well. The slices of fresh fruit was good too.

It was kinda busy but it was pretty quick with the order. They also held on to my Leatherman when i unknowingly dropped it 2 days

I like the pink beauty/orange beauty as the other boba shops do not offer similar drinks. However, I noticed that whenever I ordered with "less ice", there is an 80% chance I actually ended up with more ice than my partner, who always asked for "regular ice". I would not mind it if it were only a few slip ups but given that this had happened so frequently, I cannot help but wonder if they are doing this out of spite. Especially now that each drink is costing $8+ with tips (yep I always tipped), when you offer the option of "less ice", I expect you to honor it.

Delicious - now that Wushiland has gone downhill, this is my go to place in San Diego! From my last review, they have since fixed their point system, so all drinks, including the $4.99 black milk tea, earn at least one point when you purchase, so yay, full 5 stars!Still wish we could do away with the kiosk system though... that annoying service fee... but nothing changes the fact that it's yummy! Egg pudding ftw!

Or go-to spot for Boba tea. So many businesses and choices everywhere. The important factors that are needed to make the best boba spots:1. Boba should be slightly chewy and sweet2. Menu selection should be unique3. Everything it's made and tastes fresh4. Staff are friendly and take the time to smile 5. Consistency6. Easy to order online or via kiosk in storeDaYung has a strong customer base, even with other boba shops nearby. We still try new places as they continuously open and are introduced to San Diego, but DaYung will always have our loyalty. They check all the marks above!

It is a nice place to try a variety of tea in various tastes : orange, pineapple, strawberry, and more. We liked the passion fruit beauty tea, which has a delicious taste. It was a bit expensive for the quantity served.Should have small servings, too.

This was the worst boba tea experience I've ever had. I ordered a Royal Oolong milk tea with no ice, but I got one with ice floating on it. The waitress said there would be ice for no ice options. This was strange, since there was no ice option printed on the menu and the sticker, and she didn’t mention anything after I ordered. She insisted that it was impossible, but we later discovered that she had given my friend's "less ice" drink the same amount of ice.Since I couldn't drink an iced drink, I asked her to remake it hot. This time, on purpose or not, she made it with no sugar, even though I had ordered 30% sugar both times. She claimed that Oolong tea would be bitter even with sugar, but this was obviously a lie, since there was definitely no sugar in the tea at all. She refused to remake it again, saying that she had already remade it once.I don’t have such experience before. The waitress made two mistakes, not the customer, and then she refused to fix them with blatant lies and bad attitude.

I really like their milk teas, but only ones where I can customize the sugar level. 100% is way too sweet so it's a bummer that not all drinks can be customized. Their roasted oolong and green milk tea are my favs. Boba is pretty good (soft + chewy), but my friend isn't a fan of the other thing in their boba (it's similar to basil seeds?). We came here on 9/9 and honestly, taking a star off because we wanted to order at the front, but we're told to use the kiosk. I would be more understanding if it was busy and they were short staffed, but it was literally the two of us and three drink makers. Also, not a fan of being charged a convenience fee when they force you to use the kiosk. Another star for shit customer service. They were more than happy to take their friend's order at the cashier and he came in literally right after us.

The drinks we got were pretty good but the ordering is at a kiosk and the already expensive drinks will also include a service fee and an operation fee.
