We had a horrible experience. They had a kitchen fire last Christmas and our reservations were cancelled. We tried to make it a romantic night out since we were back in San Diego. Well... All of the other tables received their food before us (2 people). Our steak knife was dirty. The meat was overcooked and our liver was raw in the middle. Needless to say, we didn't stay to eat. The vice president of the company was there (makes you wonder what is going on in this restaurant) and he apologized and comped it all. His recovery was good. But I will never try it again.

Dining at Del Frisco's was an absolute delight. The 8oz filet was cooked to perfection, melting in my mouth with every bite. Impeccable service and attention to detail made it a memorable experience. Can't wait to return for more culinary delights.

Awesome restaurant. Brandon was our waiter and was absolutely great! Steak + lobster Mac-n-cheese you cannot go wrong! Best steakhouse in town.

Thank you for the amazing food and service. We were a large group of 12 to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday and every single dish was served hot and delicious. Thank you to our waiter Josh for an excellent experience.

So many things to list but how awful this evening was! But to narrow it down, my steak was so undercooked and the server took it back to put it back on the grill only to return it looking exactly the same as it was and it was not even warm!! The server was so rude! She kept touching my husband's arm and shoulder and even his neck! She even at one point leaned over him with her boobs in his face! Highly unprofessional! My husband was shocked by her actions! We will never go to this restaurant ever again and we have told people about our experience!!! Just terrible from beginning to end!!!

I had the unfortunate experience of working here and I can say the food and attention to detail is lacking and that they are a bunch of unprofessional snobs. They also refused to pay me my last check. No real cleaning staff or enough dishwashers to ensure you're dinnerware is actually clean. Overall just a restaurant that clings to relevancy through high prices and a great location, however they're bad habits and clear lack of good management shows in these reviews. I rather let them steal my money than have to follow another useless link that leads to a useless phone call.

Had an excellent meal during our short stay in the DMV area. Great steaks and great ambiance all around. Sue provided us with a very pleasant time, would definitely come back when we revisit!

Tony our server was good, after he realized there was a Porterhouse for Easter. But he was attentive and made good recommendations on the wine. We had the bacon and it was excellent, very smoky. The lamb with the mint, chimichurri sauce and the dry aged porterhouse. Steak was cooked perfectly medium and the ambiance was great!

We thoroughly love checking out steak houses when we travel. Del Frisco's in Downtown San Diego was one we hadn't yet tried. From the start our experience was fantastic. The food was perfect. From the honey salted dinner roles to the hamachi and shrimp cocktail to our entrees and finishing with their delightful signature butter cake for dessert...perfection. I had the filet and my husband the 45-day dry-aged ribeye. We shared asparagus and sautéed mushrooms. The only thing that might have made it better would have been a table overlooking the Bay and a pristine sunset (alas the sky didn't cooperate). It was all scrumptious. If you want a top notch vodka martini to enjoy with a steak exactly how you ask...Del Frisco's. Sean and his team provided impeccable service. We will be back!

The server was very attentive, he was great. We started with the Shanghai calamari- very tasteful and for drinks- 24k margarita. I really was looking towards a great dinner till we got our tasteless dry with no flavor steak, creamy way too creamy corn with no flavor and the DRY BURNT, not roasted but bitter mushroom that we did not even touch! We pretty much just had the drink and the calamari. We walked in hungry and walked out starving. I am not sure what happened to this place but definitely not going back.

Unfortunately it was not the night I had expected, I made my reservation 5 days before, we asked for the second floor and a table in the window with a view. It was our anniversary. We arrived, our table was not ready. They made us wait and gave us a table on the first floor where the only thing I could see was where they put the dirty dishes. It was a special night and we didn't have it. The reception is very unfortunate that they do not see the requests that we made in advanced.

Overall, great experience and an awesome wait staff. The only mark was the temperature of the steak. I asked for medium and it came well done. While the server asked if I wanted to speak to the manager I was okay as I didn't want any comps.
