Food was good but the lady at the register purposely overcharged us so Buyer beware. It was supposed to be 22.15 but she actually tried to charge us 24.00. I know it doesn’t seem like much money, but if they’re doing this to every customer that could add up to quite a bit of profit. When we told her that she was overcharging us for the Naan bread she had No remorse no apology. It was kind of weird. She didn’t seem too surprised and fixed it immediately so kind of feels like this is something she does on a regular basis.

The combos here come at a good price, however I ordered outside of it and my entree was mid and samosa was cold

Had the Paneer Tikka Masala with Dahl Makhini. Enjoyed the dinner special with yogurt and garlic naan. The Dahl Makhini wasn’t the best. Everything else good.

Unfortunately bc it's so disorganized you're gonna wait a while for the good good ?? just letting yall know they do not have an organized way of getting in line to place an order here. I noticed a lot of people were here for pick up so it's better to just do that instead. But the food is so good!!!!! So it just sucks that their management is terrible.

Absolute trash Indian food, please do not waste your time or money. No flavor for curries and chicken is dried out. Owner tried to up charge me a random amount and I questioned it.

Finally! A Taste of Authenticity Discovered at Delhi KitchenRating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Wow! Flavorful and delicious! I recently had the pleasure of eating dinner at Delhi Kitchen, a hidden gem located in Poway, CA and the delicious aroma hits you as soon as you walk in the door. This unassuming little restaurant with just a few tables and chairs is tucked away in the Trader Joe’s shopping center. It’s plain decor shouldn’t fool you; this is the best Indian food I’ve had since leaving Indian food mecca San Francisco and moving to San Diego a few years ago.As a discerning lover of Indian cuisine, my experience was nothing short of exceptional. From start to finish, every aspect of my meal was a delight, and I left with a newfound appreciation for the authentic flavors of Delhi Kitchen. Simple and authentic homemade Indian food is what you’ll find here.I opted for the entree of Bombay Potatoes, Chana Dal, Steamed Long Grain Basmati Rice and Chapati bread. From the first bite, it became evident that the dishes were prepared with utmost care and expertise. The seasoning was exquisite, adding just the right amount of heat and spice to awaken my taste buds, without overpowering the natural flavors of the food. The Bombay potatoes were tender, perfectly cooked, and bursting with a medley of aromatic spices. The Chana Dal, with its creamy texture and rich flavors, was full of body & depth - and left me craving for more. My husband looked at me after taking a few bites and said “SO good. I could eat this every day “. The steamed rice provided a light and fragrant accompaniment, complementing the robustness of the main dishes. And oh, the Chapati bread! It was warm, soft, and served as the perfect vehicle to scoop up the delicious morsels. I added some chicken and a Samosa to share with my husband. The samosa was crisp and falsely on the outside and soft and flavorful on the inside. Heavenly. The chicken was perfectly seasoned, nice and juicy. What truly set Delhi Kitchen apart from other Indian restaurants was an unmistakable personal touch. It felt as though I was being transported to the home of an Indian grandmother, where every dish was crafted with love and culinary mastery. The flavors were so well-balanced and authentic that it felt like a true representation of Indian home cooking. The service at Delhi Kitchen was impeccable, with friendly and attentive staff who made me feel welcome throughout my visit. The cozy and inviting atmosphere added to the overall charm of the restaurant, making it an informal place I will undoubtedly visit on a weekly basis. I was delighted to learn they also offer a to-go menu as well as catering. In conclusion, Delhi Kitchen is a culinary treasure that has won my heart and taste buds over. With its exceptional food, seasoned to perfection, and a genuine taste of Indian home cooking, this establishment has truly raised the bar when it comes to offering an unforgettable eating experience. We went back the next day for more.If you're in Poway and looking for an informal place to savor the true essence of Indian cuisine, look no further than Delhi Kitchen. You’ll be glad you did!

I like the food here but recently the prices are increased. So I plan to try some other places to search for for better place with reasonable price and luckily I found the one, check out below:The 3 item combo is increased more recently which is 12.99 + tax which is going g to be$14 plus... So I am bit disappointed with total 14$ .But check out this place below:10606 Camino Ruiz #6, San Diego, CA 92126(Annapurna Indian cuisine),I recently had unlimited buffet for the same price of $14 at rhis indian restaurant and unlimited chicken curry, unlimited chicken Tikka masala, unlimited Veg curry, all unlimited Bonad, Papad, Naan, Rice, Daal, Idli, Chutneys, etc Vegetable rice and much more for just $14 only.I really enjoyed the food unlimited for just $14 and the chicken is so yummy and tasty(Available on Tuesady, Wednesday, Thursday at $14 only with unlimited buffet)On weekends it's many more items than above mentioned at a price of $19 unlimited...

Food was mid. Way too greasy. The butter chicken had sooo much oil floating on top, it gave me major heartburn even after I scooped it out. When I walked thru the doors with my husband, the lady in the front and one of the guys in the back gave me a really weird look. I'm indian and my husband is not. I felt judged. I won't be returning here.
