I travel a lot and stop by local mom and pop coffee shops often to enjoy some caffeine of course and get work done while one the road. I stopped by this location passing through San Diego. What a pleasant surprise. Greeted by the owner Victoria and her wonderful personality and smile I ordered a delicious coffee of sorts along with one pastry, and one more to follow. The I was entertained by a gentlemen playing an accordion while the owner sang along with an amazing voice. This food, environment, drinks all 5 star. Must stop by and enjoy the experience. Cheers

Lovely to stop here on a Sunday afternoon for a glass of wine while on a walk. The wine was a full pour, and we ordered a small cheese plate. If driving, there is parking in the back down the alley. You pull in underneath the building.Highly recommend, and will come back in the future for afternoon tea.

The overall vibe of this place is very elevated cozy and comfortable. Perfect location if you're looking to spend some time to do work. They have a variety of pastries and brunch food available too if you wanted a little snack to eat. Only challenge here might be parking since street parking is all you have.

Such a wonderful spot in Hillcrest! The owners are talented musicians, welcoming. Really nice food, pastries and coffee. Cozy place for conversation, as well.

Enjoyed gnocchi Wednesday at Divo Diva last night. Gnocchi was amazing and the people and atmosphere delightful! Pillowy soft gnocchi with a delicious tomato sauce, made by their Italian chef. Truly wonderful. In addition to restaurateurs, the owners Rosario(also Italian) and Victoria, are trained opera singers and treated guests by singing a few famous arias from operas throughout the night. Their voices filled the room with beautiful music and their hospitality towards their guests was warm and welcoming. This is a great place to meet up with friends and family and enjoy authentic Italian food and drink and a fun dining experience! We will definitely be back!

Just discovered this neighborhood gem. The food is good but the owners are the real draw. Both of them are opera singers, one from Italy, and they have given the place a real European cafe vibe. Multiple times a week the owners with their incredible voices sing for their patrons, everything from the most recognizable opera to contemporary and even country and western. We have just discovered the place, open only since August 2023, but will be back often.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options throughout the menu.Parking: Parking is behind and under the building down the alley. Once inside the parking garage, the parking places on your left are labeled Divo Diva.

I used to love the joint that was here before. Honestly it has the same feel - just a remodel. The service of course was fabulous. It's a nice place for a coffee date or gal time.
