Easily the best sports bar in the area. An ADD-haver’s delight: there are TVs everywhere. Food is decent, beer list is decent, and the cocktails aren’t weak. Plus, there’s a ping pong table, foosball, and shuffleboard. If you’re going with a large group, I’d suggest reservations.

We go for trivia, so haven't had much of the food. What I have had has been wonderful though. Nachos, sampler app..They have this ginger beer (non alcoholic) that is soooo good.Trivia guy is fun too. Recommend for sure.

This place is a go to for work happy hours and lunches. Also great for large parties, I'm talking like 20+ people. I like that they have a huge selection of beer and lots of free games like ping pong, billiards and arcade stuff. This has been the hangout spot for me during college and now my yuppie years since I work in the "tech" triangle

Wow what great service. I have been coming here forever a while and I'm so impressed. Madison, jordyn, and Eric are consistently helping us and really doing the most! They have been so friendly and accommodating! It's nice to go to a restaurant weekly and have consistent staff and consistently good attitudes. Andrew has been so kind as well and really makes sure we are taken care of. We love the drink specials and love coming every week for trivia with Nick!

Having a large group get-together? Do it at Draft Republic! I held a birthday here at the La Jolla location with a large party, and it couldn't have gone more smoothly. Eric K (our server) was on point the whole night with great food/drink recommendations, a couple of checks floating around over the course of the night, and over-the-top help with a surprise ice cream cake. Thanks again, Eric! The management team was also very helpful as well. Andrew (the manager that night), made sure to swing by to ensure everything was going smooth, and Kelly H from their corporate team was very communicative throughout the prior week as we were choosing the location for the event. Good food, fun games, and a great atmosphere!

I visited the bar rail a couple days ago for some drinks and appetizers. The bartender Billy was so nice and friendly, I had an amazing time. I was so pleased by the food... that I came back a second time and ordered the exact same thing!!!! (Buffalo cauliflower, pretzel balls, burrata flatbread) I love all of the beer options here and the atmosphere is very upbeat and fun. It's a great place to visit after a big shopping at UTC or just visiting in the La Jolla area.

Draft Republic has excellent service. The staff is really friendly. My server Madison was very lovely and sweet. She checked up on me constantly. All the other servers Mary and Grant were also very professional and friendly. I would recommend this place.

Been here many times for company events and they've usually been ok (in the outside patio area). Came here tonight as we had a Cohn Restaurant Group gift card and were sadly disappointed. My husband ordered the fish & chips which were anemic looking. My steak salad had the toughest piece of meat ever. The attached picture shows all the meat I tried to chew but couldn't. Also, so much for cleaning - the other picture shows how dirty/dusty the booths are. Guess there is ZERO Covid cleaning going on here? Thanks for the 4 % surcharge added to the bill. Maybe that should be spent on hiring a cleaning crew as the staff clearly isn't doing it. Will NOT be returning. Will NOT be returning.
The daily special beer is only $4, great value!It closes at 10pm, which is quite early for those who are looking for a good place for alcohol on friday night...

Host staff was not friendly or welcoming. I think the manager was in the hostess stand and she was the least friendly and had a frown on her face the whole time. Our server was not attentive at first but then improved however she did not mention that the steak on the steak salad is served med rare and when we told her she said that's how it's served. I feel servers should always ask for temp on meat. The restaurant seemed dirty and I would have hoped for better service. The food overall is good.

Place is great. Food is great. Beer is cold. Why did I give 3-stars? Because of the 4% surcharge. If you have to raise your prices then raise your prices. But SACK UP AND PUT IT ON THE MENU. Don't make it look like your prices are cheaper and then put fine print that says "A 4% surcharge will be added to all Guest checks to help cover increasing costs and in support of the recent increases to minimum wage and benefits for our dedicated Team Members." This is a total bait and switch. Again, I understand if you need to raise prices. Just be real about it. That is all I have to say about that.

My husband loved the hot chicken sandwich. The pretzel bites were great. The bbq sauce is odd. Just get some Sweet Baby Rays. Theirs was like wings sauce. Nope. Ruined my sandwich.
