Great spot for a sandwich, never had it before but I highly recommend it to anyone if your looking for a fast sandwich. The cashier has a good ability to actively listen to customers and understand their needs on how they want there sandwiches. Also let’s not forget they have great team work to get your orders right away.

The sandwiches are not that bad, not great but not bad but I must say, the customer service has got to be one of the worst I have see. These girls there literally act like they don't want to be there, rolling their eyes and acting bothered. They also talk too much so they are taking longer than they should to make the sandwiches. Some of us o ly have 20 to 30 min lunches so we need to grab and go, not wait till they finish their conversation

Good food! Not the quickest, but my sandwich was very tasty. The selection of drinks was pretty sparse, which was surprising. Be aware: cash only!

Visited this sandwich shop during peak hours, and while the sandwich was a winner, the line moved at a snail's pace. The wait was a bit much, but the aroma of fresh bread kept everyone patient.

Delicious and savory sandwiches. I never thought I would say this about a sandwich but this place really is great! I got the buffalo avocado chicken sandwich and my bf got a Swiss and ham sandwich. We also got a salad, the dressing was nice and tangy... very delicious and I have to say one of the best dressings I've had. The staff was quick and friendly. The prices are good and the sandwich sizes are also a good portion not big but not little either. Highly recommend this place.

Soggy sandwich and staff weren't very friendly. Had a hard time simply adding potato chips to my online order when I came into to pick up the sandwich.

This is probably one of the better sandwich places I've ate at in San Diego. Quality of the meat and bread is great! They slice their turkey meat super thin and tastes like the quality is there. We got the tuna melt, classic turkey sandwich, and the holiday thanksgiving turkey sandwich. My least favorite was the holiday sandwich BUT don't get me wrong it was still really good just a bit heavy and soft. The classic turkey sandwich was my second favorite and good quality and delicious! My favorite though was the tuna melt... so creamy and flavorful. Probably not the healthiest with the mayo but I would definitely order from here again. Tomato soup was good but it spilled in our order so that was disappointing. Since we ordered through door dash no comments on the ambiance or service but love their sandwiches!

Took longer than expected to get our food, but when it came it was well worth it. The sandwiches were normal sized and easy to finish without feeling too stuffed. Nice inside and outside seating.

The food was what one would expect from a local sandwich shop. Everything tasted pre-prepped, not particularly fresh. Maybe they weren't prepared for a lunch rush, but the service was very slow. I wanted to try the tater tots but was told it would be 20 minutes, so I opted for chips, not knowing my order would be 20 minutes anyway. My breakfast burrito was good. Fortunately, I was not in a hurry.

Holiday Turkey Sandwich and Italian SandwichStill one of my favorite sandwich places ever! I first found Earl of Sandwich in Vegas, and I was so excited to find one here in San Diego! The Holiday Turkey Sandwich will always be my favorite--I am obsessed with the stuffing and cranberry sauce in it. The Italian sandwich was pretty good too! This location is nice and spacious, super fast service too!

I'm so glad there is finally a location in San Diego. I have been to the Earl of Sandwich in Downtown Disney before. I got the Earl Club this time with avocado and you just can't go wrong with that sandwich. It is a warm sandwich at a perfect temperature and the bread was so good and soft. The staff was really nice and the location was great with tables outside on the corner. I will definitely go back for breakfast and next time I go for lunch, I'll try a different sandwich. 5 stars for food, quick service and nice and clean environment.

Really good sandwiches, best one is probably the earl's club but others are pretty good. About 9$ per sandwich or about $11 for a 9 inch. It might be expensive but it's better than subway. My only complaint is there are a few locations to where I live. So this San Diego one is the closest to me. But no problem! It's only about 15 minutes away. There is one at planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. Other than that it's definitely a go to place if you're in downtown, in a mood for a sandwich, and you like eating.

So excited to find this location when we were in San Diego because our go-to location at Downtown Disney has closed. No issues whatsoever with the food. Our sandwiches (Chipotle Chicken Avocado and Holiday Turkey) were just as delicious as ever, and of course the mac & cheese was on point. 3.5 stars (rounded down) My issues are: -restroom is for employees only -no unsweet iced tea available, just the regular offerings from a Pepsi fountain drink machine -location is downtown and as such, I hate the parking situation. It's not really the restaurant's fault, but I still don't like it. On the plus side: -seating is plentiful inside and outside (with shade umbrellas) -outlets available inside (not USB, just regular outlets) -service was fast and friendly

I was helped by a girl called Lendi. She was very friendly. I couldn't decide so she asked me if it was my first time at this place. And she guided me making a choice. My sandwich was freshly prepared and it was tasty. The only thing I was trying to understand if the chicken was really chicken or chicken and taufu mix with chicken flavor.Chicken cannot be so soft and without proper chicken taste. The location is really good for lunch time. The restaurant was clean and staff was friendly during my visit. When I was leaving Lendi even asked me if how my sandwich was? That makes you feel welcome agsin.Dietary restrictions: No bacon
