The food was so gross. The meat was weird color like it was boiled or not fully cooked. The lengua was dry and old and black. It's disgusting. Food wasn't even hot. How can any restaurant mess up carne asada so bad or Mexican food for that matter? Don't eat here. I hope we don't get sick from the few bites we had. We didn't eat the rest of the food.

Lots to select from with very nice authentic dishes. Hand made tortillas! Definitely recommend. And if anyone wants boba there’s a shop in the same parking lot.At first I was reluctant to eat here as it seemed like another whatever Mexican food place.I only stopped by because my son wanted the hot Cheetos Burrito. I didn’t feel like driving to Lupes Mexican Eatery(the hot Cheetos burrito is better but salsas suck).Once I saw the salsa bar with my favorite green chili and orange one too, I was happy!After trying out different items from the menu, I was hooked. Been coming here more often now.Con’s:Surf & turf burrito is too small (the other burritos are decent) Vallartas does it better.Hot Cheetos burrito comes with fries, I always ask to swap fries for rice & extra chipotle sauce. It’s better!

Ordered from drive thru a simple bean and cheese burrito but I asked them to add fries inside the burrito. Order was paid for and they charge me an extra $1 for the fries but on receipt it said "extra pico". When I received the burrito from the drive thru window I double checked with the person that fries were added in the burrito and not pico. He said yes. Went home and lo and behold, no fries!!! Should be cutting into my burritos before leaving drive thru to make sure they did what I asked and paid for?!?!! See pics for the disappointment

My husband and I really love this place and recommend it to our friends taking them here. Love the fact you can serve yourself hot sauce ? most places don't do that anymore which I don't understand why can't say cause of COVID when we all know it's for financial benefits for the company. Anyway! I appreciate that! Food is delicious ? I recommend anything won't be disappointed! Or habanero and the spicy green guacamole hot sauce is my favorite!? Staff is friendly ?

Great Authentic Mexican food. Super casual and easy. If you want to go all out and order 8-10 things to share with another person plus two sodas you’ll pay about $50. My husband and I ordered Al pastor tacos, (my favorite) carnitas, and a quesadilla with nopales, (cactus) plus 2 fountain sodas. The carnitas are very Smokey in flavor so I can only do one, but the al pastor is something you can just keep eating.I have been to El Gordo in San Diego, which is why I came here. The food at this one is good but it is not as good as the one in San Diego. I think it’s just not as clean or well kept.
