My recent breakfast at El Patron was satisfying. The breakfast burrito was flavorful and filled with delicious ingredients. The casual ambiance made it a great spot to start the day.

My new go-to for Mexican food. Stopped by for Taco Tuesday. Great tacos! Had a carnitas & a pescado taco. They were perfectly cooked: carnitas juicy (tho could have enjoyed more crispy bits)& fish lightly battered and succulent inside. And I was stuffed. Looking forward to trying their extensive menu. Food is 5 star. The 4 are for the unkind service and fast food ambience. Meaning, I wish this was a full service restaurant since the food is so superior to anything else in the area!

I wish I took pictures. Huge breakfast burrito. Friendly customer service. I finished it even though I wanted to take half of it home. Sauce was super duper, not too spicy... for me . I plan on going back to get something else from the lunch or dinner menu. on the breakfast burrito. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did

I've been going here for almost two decades, and they are still going strong. I always order the Carne asada burrito and three (3) rolled tacos combination that includes a canned soda for $12.49, a 5/5 stars deal! Carne asada burrito: tender beef that is mildly flavored, but the pico de gallo, guacamole, and soft but slightly crisped flour tortilla all contribute for interesting bites, 4/5 stars. Three (3) rolled tacos: other spots nickel and dime you to add fresh veggies to your rolled tacos, but not here! The veggies, cool creamy guacamole, crispy tortilla, and shredded beef or chicken round it all up for a satisfying side or appetizer =) 3.5/5 stars. I love their salsa bar, as they have a variety of quality and flavorful salsas, including grilled white onions, jalapeños, hot carrots, and pickled red onions. Yes, they don't have a drive-thru, but that doesn't stop the masses from getting their grub on here. The service here is systematic, and I always place my order ahead via Yelp / Grub Hub for pick-up.

We got the carne asada fries, california burrito and mira mesa burrito. The carne asada fries had refried beans in it which is fine usually but I guess should be kept in mind for preferences. Too much cheese and tomato, there wasn't enough fries or carne asada. The california burrito was pretty good, I asked for no sour cream, but there was a little too much cheese and not enough guac. The mira mesa burrito was good, but definitely is not for everyone. The green bell pepper was barely cooked, and definitely is based on preference. Our food came out quick though and the drinks were large. They played bad bunny really loud, which is okay but could get a little annoying if you're trying to talk to someone.

Like the Patron burrito and decent chimichangas! Got some sort of beef taco that was good except too greasy. Vege burrito was huge but bland. Price for size is very good, we've had leftovers. Like others have said, service is not very friendly, but hasn't been a deal breaker for us.

The food is amazing, but, if you want it hot, don't order for pickup. Even though your food is paid for, you will pretty much be forced to wait in line behind all walk-ins while your food gets cold. It's not kept in a hot place. If you try to walk up to the counter to let them know, you'll get looks like you're being rude and a line cutter and nobody will ask you or give you an opportunity ask about your order. When I asked them if it was their policy to make pre-order customers wait in line while their food gets cold, the answer was yes. So, I will definitely think twice before doing this again. Still giving 3 stars because I've loved the food for years. But dine in if you want it at its best. I wish cold soggy nachos on no one.
