I ORDERED A IPA LAGUNITAS BEER IN THE GALSS BOTTLE WHICH THE CASHIER/SERVER OPENED IT. I DRINK SOME OF IT AND SEEN IT HAD STUFF FLOATING IN IT. I ASKED THE CASHIER/SEVERE WHY IT WAS LIKE THIS SHE SAID IPA'S ARE ALWAYS LIKE THAT I DON'T KNOW WHY,I HAND BACK TO HER. I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE BECAUSE THE SERVICE WASN'T GOOD,FOOD, OR BEER. IF I GET SICK TONIGHT I WILL KNOW WHY!!!

The cook at this restaurant was horrible the rolled tacos I ordered wore so hard like a rock it was hard to bite into meat was super dry my stomach started hurting after I ate the food which was upsetting it had a bubbling feeling after I ate it like if the food was old I noticed the coworkers wore flirting alot girl went outside with a leaf blower then served my food unsanitary? I didn't eat breakfast and this was my late lunch I went at the restaurant around after two pm what a disappointment I was about to eat at sports arena cuz I know they have really good Mexican food but I wanted to give a new spot a try no customers wore there when I got there plus they have the music in the TV very loud I can even hear it when I had my headphones on terrible customer service flirting in a work force? Horrific food tasted like garbage couldn't eat it all the cook needs to learn how to cook my stomach is bubbling right now I have an event to go to tonight I hope I don't get sick! Thank Goodness I didn't tip them I usually tip but the customer service lacked poor customer service. Don't go here!!!!

I wanted some carne asada fries, I thought I would try this place out but honestly I was completely disappointed ?. For $15 they could at least added some pico de Gallo to the fries but there was only guacamole and sliver of cream and to top it off the salsa was diluted water that was flavorless. They should have called it guacamole fries because there was no meat, maybe a table spoon if that. I was truly disappointed, I did not get my money's worth. I can make guacamole fries at home for ALOT cheaper. I totally regret not going to El Paisa's located at 2494 Imperial Avenue, they have the best Carne Asada Fries in all of San Diego. I do not recommend El Primos Birrieria, they are overated.

The coconut horchata they have is crazy amazing!!! I'm always lucky enough to get some before they run out lol the birria tacos are definitely their signature thing though I like them toasted and they're always fresh and delicious c:

Came in around closing. Bought what was listed at Nachos with guacamole. 9.75$ without tax. Keep in mind, on their menu they have chips and guacamole for 6.75$. As soon as my order comes out, it's just chip and guacamole 6.75$. I asked the cashier what the difference was between the item listed with a clear price difference . They said they had brought it up before to management yet no resolution. The cashiers solution is to give me a side of Nacho cheese. This is a restaurant not 7/11 or the movie theater I'm expecting Nachos with pico, sour cream, cheese, guacamole. This is ridiculous excuse. Please ask what their food item actually is before ordering.

It seems they redecorated but it seems when ghetto spots do that they almost always change the food for the worse....case in pointI went in foelr a fish taco...almost 6 bucks to wait for a lukewarm piece of Gordon's fish topped with crunchy cabbage and minimalsalsa or creme. I was tight but I didn't have time to take it back. Then the girl that took my order had some fetidh with her hair. How about doing us all a favor since you work around food, put it up.Nasty - expensive - and not worth it...oh and there's no parking either. U gotta ride the trolley and sift thru all the nasty homeless.....first do yourself a favor, hit Humbertos on 25th and Broadway instead

Horrible experience my fish taco was terrible, it tasted like a frozen fish stick from Ralph’s. The Birria taco was bland, flavorless and dry. With no consome or radishes. I couldn’t even finish it after the horrible fish taco. And when I tried to get a refund or at least something else to eat. The manager said they couldnt do anything. Overall terrible, wouldn’t eat here if you’re looking for good tacos.

1/10 The store smells bad once you enter ! Everyone that stayed to eat choose to sit outside due to the smell ! The Horchata de coco was the only good thing ! Food in general 0/10 beans were almost burnt and dry I had the quesadilla ahogada and was disappointed! No waiters or chips and salsa like the one in Chula Vista ! I don't recommend this location ! I highly recommend the one in Chula Vista! Clearly different cooks and different seasonings !

I love birria and we were trying to find a new location close to downtown. Honestly, this was the best birria I've had. (And I've had a lot) just a heads up ... the red salsa is so spicy none of my family can eat it!! The spicy carrots are great. But seriously, I could eat this birria for days!

Nice little place. The Horchita was AMAZING!! However, the Carne Asada was not very good. I also asked for no guacamole and when I got home it was drenched in it. Not good at all.

I was really expecting great things from this place, came highly recommended and wanted to see what all the fuzz was all about. Had myself 2 birria tacos and a Quesabirria, I don’t have much to say about the food, or the place other than it was underwhelming. They do have Mexican Coke.

I haven't eaten there but when I walked in to ask what time they closed because it does not say online or any where in the restaurant the guy who walked out couldn't even understand what I was saying then the woman in the kitchen asked me if I was ordering anything in a tone of voice like I was bothering her. So while the food looks great and there are a lot of great reviews I will not be purchasing any food from them. I don't care if it is the best Mexican food in San Diego or the US or on Earth. I will be going back to Lolita's across from the ballpark because their Mexican food and customer service is some of the best I've ever had in my life and I was debating whether to go there instead but in less then 5 minutes and not tasting one bite of their food the debate in my head is already over.
