How can you mess-up a bean burrito. The beans were bitter, cheese & guacamole was processed. cheese didn't melt, guacamole was an unnatural color and the taste I can even describe. I would not even serve this to my pet. I will not going back.

They use old, expired ingredients. The only safe thing to consume are the sodas, but they're $5. This is the worst taco shop in San Diego. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

Hash brown bacon burrito was on point, maybe a bit on the heavy side lol but I’ll take that. Huge satisfying size. The place looked really clean and the food tasted fresh.Ambiance was nice and parking is plenty.

El Rey Moro Taco Shop is an absolute gem in San Diego. Their tacos are out of this world! The flavors are authentic and the ingredients are fresh. The staff is super friendly and the service is top-notch. It's a must-visit spot if you're craving some delicious Mexican food. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

The short of it, dont come here, theres better less than a block away.I dont know who told the chef that a quesodilla should have sour cream, tomatoes, and lettuce on it but whoever that person is needs to be held accountable for their crimes. They fail to listen to special instructions nine times out of ten, and often times their meat is dry, their cheese is greasy and their tortillas don't taste right. The folks who work there are nice enough but the food is too bad to justify going back.

ATTENTION MANAGEMENT:I've been a business owner for over 15 years.I know when it is time to fire an employee. An employee represents your company.Today 8/30/23 8:00am I ordered a Buenos Dias Burrito. I paid about $12. That is pretty expensive for food and it comes with high expectations if the price is going to be so high.See the photos, any human being knows how to make a burrito. You fold in the sides and roll it into a burrito. My burrito was first rolled and the edges folded in. Guess what happens when you make a burrito this way? All the contents fall out. You put the flaps into the burrito then roll it. Not the other way around. I never knew anybody to be so stupid to make a burrito backwards. I guess your employee don't respect you and don't care about your image or his job. My burrito was filled with a gallon of beans, a few pieces of carne, a spoon of eggs and ham. I didn't order this. And it was folded wrong. I think your employees need to spend less time laughing and clapping and having their own time and recognize they are working for you and your business.I took my burrito back for a refund. I know I paid about $12 on my credit card. I was given $7.39 back in cash.I think your business needs be restructured. Starting with a new cook that has experience folding a burrito and caring about the customer who eats it.Your cook just threw any old s*** in a tortilla and half-ass rolled it up. He needs to find a new job if you know what I mean...

Put ham in my vegetarian burrito, accidentally ate ham for the first time in 3 years and they didn't refund :/ Horchata was watery too

I live in the area (The Square area) for the last 5 years. Tonight was the first time I've visited this establishment. I ordered a shredded chicken burrito with extra cheese. The cheese was an extra $2.50. I passed. The burrito, still a premium price (just under $10), was small, just had near zero flavor. Salt is rather inexpensive. Would I return, thinking this is a one off? I don't think so. I was warned by neighbors but thought I would give this place a chance anyways. So many better taco shops in the area.

I ordered the 3 mini tacos. The pollo tacos had good flavor. The carne asada was also good a little bit over cooked. The corn tortillas were very dry and disappointed that they did not come with guacamole. With only one límon, The tacos would have been better with guacamole, too much onion and cilantro I removed most of it before I took pictures

The meat was flavorful, a bit dry since guacamole was not included. Service was fast and quick. Reliable menu. I have had their California burrito and rice/bean burrito and both were good. Friendly place to order Mexican food, tacos should include guacamole though

I saw this place while stopped at a red light and decided to give it a try. I first checked the reviews and then went in. I heard people talking in the kitchen, but since no one was at the counter, after a minute I rang the bell. The cashier came out of a side room and looked irritated. I asked for the difference between huevos rancheros and chilaquiles. I decided to order the huevos rancheros. It was served on a very large plate which made me happy because I didn't have breakfast and I was pretty hungry now that it was lunchtime. The food didn't disappoint! It was really good! The cashier, with apologies for bringing them late, brought over a roll of warm tortillas wrapped in foil, but I'd already finished most of my food. I ate two anyway and enjoyed them. I'll definitely be back and hope for friendlier service.
