Absolutely wonderful service. The lady who I believe might be the owner is the sweetest and most patient person you will ever meet. I was struggling to pick sweet souvenirs for my friends and family back home and she helped me, very patiently, and threw in a delicious free gluten free cupcake even after I spent forever making up my mind. She's the best! I'll definitely be back!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free

Gina was amazing and such a sweetheart. They helped me gather my purchase effectively and was kind enough to offer to place the postcards I had been working on before my flight home in the mail bin for me on their way out for the day. I definitely recommend paying this shop a visit if you want something quick and don’t want the hassle of waiting in a line.

Right as we stepped off the plane I couldn't help but grab something sweet to eat. I had a craving for some cookies and Elegant Desserts really came through. I ordered about 3 separate cookies and while the plan was to only buy one. I ended up eating all three as we walked to baggage claim. They had a decent variety of sweets! The woman working the register was very nice as well. Now with as big as the San Diego airport is, there are one you of snack and food choices but for a quick treat I'd say it's worth the stop.

This place has the atmosphere and quality of a 'We had our 5 min of fame' and are still trying to ride on that wave several years later. We recently went to get something here for my gluten free/dairy free kid because they at one time had a couple of great selections. They had nothing when we went there this time. He had been so excited. This happens, I get it. The problem wasn't that there was nothing there he could have, it was the lack of customer service and communication that came with it. Snobby staff that said 'Just read the labels' after having waited 5 minutes in line where they spent more time ignoring customers than helping them. Hard pass on the attitude of wait staff alone.

A great little dessert shop in the airport which carries a decent selection of local desserts. They carry cookies from “The Cravory”, which are incredible. It’s a little local cookie shop which we stumbled on during our trip, so we were very excited to find their cookies here!

The lady working here was very nice! They just didn’t have much dessert that was fresh, which was disappointing. It is all packaged chocolates, cookies and sweets.

Their gluten free snickerdoodle is great.

I was very excited to try this bakery because it is always closed. I purchased 2 red velvet cakes. They were old and disgusting. Tasted like they were spoiled. I was getting ready to board my plane or I would have returned them. They cost almost 13 bucks for cakes that were the same size as the palm of my hand.

Nicely decorated basic donuts but not a special taste or fancy bakery, store nice colors and decor it is just ok for a quick dessert

Easily some of the most overpriced and stale desserts I’ve ever experienced. Avoid and go to Starbucks.

Sitting here waiting for our flight - 7am on March 19th. And there's this woman who works here, behind the counter, with curly hair who is cussing in Spanish (and English) angrily at whomever she's yelling at on her cell phone. It's extremely unprofessional and the energy is awful. She should be fired. I've looked over at her a couple times now to imply how distributive she's being and she's not getting the hint.

When you've got a hankering for something sweet and you're stuck at the airport, your usual options are candy bars from a gift shop. Not in the San Diego airport! Elegant Desserts has you covered. The display is nostalgic-something right out of a true candy shop. Everything looked great-I chose a cranberry/raisin oatmeal cookie that was remarkably tasty. A few cons-expect to pay a lot. I paid $4 for that cookie. Worth it? Maybe. But still hard to fork over that much money for a cookie. Also-the girl at the counter was less than interested in being there. She did not acknowledge us as we browsed the items (nobody else was around) and it took her several seconds to look up from her phone to take our money when we were ready to pay. Tasty treats. Spendy. Lack of customer service.

I got the Unicorn Doughnut, which was visually stunning. So much colorful frosting and candy and sprinkles and sparkles to make it look like a unicorn. Way more attactive than a regular doughnut. Unfortunately, it tasted like an over-sized common doughnut that just happened to have a ton of frosting on top. Most doughnuts at Krispy Kreme taste better. Guess it comes down to a form vs. substance judgment call.
