Employees give attitude when you show up well before closing because they would rather close early.

4 stars for the location and ambience... clean and cute little cafe. It was very cold inside though and didn't have a ton of space. 5 stars for the service. The two people working there were friendly and helpful, and service was fast 3.5 stars for the cappuccino. It was better than Starbucks (most anything is), but not as good as others I've had. 5 stars for the crepe shell - loved the taste and texture of the crepe shell. Yum! 1.5 stars for the filling (turkey, spinach and mozzarella) - The turkey tasted like very average deli turkey (I'd hoped for something less processed), a very tiny amount of spinach and cheese, and not much flavor in any of it. Maybe the sweet crepes would be better, but this was my first savory crepe and I definitely wouldn't repeat this experience, especially for $12.50 All in all a mixed experience. I might come back to try the gelato or a sweet crepe or pastry, but I definitely didn't get the quality I'd hoped for in the items I purchased, especially for the price.

This places opens at 7am but don't dare come in before 8am because you'll be greated with an agitated lady who seems to hate business at that hour which is ridiculous for a coffee shop. Their croissant sandwiches are delicious but service is so poor I wouldn't want such disappointment so early in the morning. The demeanor of the ladies in the early morning are underwhelming.

Many barstools and a couple of seats but many tables and chairs outside in the shared plaza and wifi so can be used for work and studying. Turmeric latte was very good. Can taste the spices and it isnt too overwhelming. Service was quick as it was not busy on a weekday afternoon. They have a big food menu and there are a few items I would like to try another time.

Yummmmy! They have been voted best cold brew and crepe for a reason. The crepe was so delicious. Strawberries were cut the perfect size to always have the perfect bite. Nutella smeared inside and drizzled on the outside just in case you didn't have enough! All the coffees were great that we had. Beautifully done and not scalding hot. They do have dairy free options as well. The staff was very friendly and made all our treats with care. We were visiting from Las Vegas but frequently visit SD and LaJolla. This easily got added to one of our "MUST Stop In" before we head home.

cute tucked away place in la jolla village to do laptop work in! Not sure if its the best place to study if you're looking for somewhere quiet, as it does get busy and loud.I had their iced matcha slightly sweetened and it was absolutely delish!

The lady working here at the front is so rude and unpleasant, I’ve heard multiple complaints and seen negative reviews about her being rude to customers. We are next door and our bathroom is being fixed. They refused to let our client use their community bathroom which is shared by ALL the businesses next door. How miserable must you be? Lol

Rude and snotty staff, I've seen so many other reviews about this too and was appalled. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and their coffee is overpriced when it's mostly just plain creamer and sugar and barely any coffee. Who the heck is running this place?

This is embarrassingly terrible espresso for a place with espresso in their name. It's flat, bland, has absolutely no depth. Quad Americano in an 8oz cup and either they forgot 3 shots or this is the weakest espresso I've had in a long time. Also.... $6.95 for this is wild. I was really hoping the price would reflect some reason, but no. I will say the barista was very nice; that was the only positive piece of the experience.

Been here a couple times when I visit San Diego. This place is located in a quaint plaza in La Jolla. Walking in, it had such a warm, cozy ambiance. It would be an amazing spot to do work or read. They had a little counter with flyers and posters to support local artists, which I really loved. We ended up getting a matcha latte, affogato, and a vanilla latte. The drinks came out relatively fast and the staff was super friendly. Drinks were great, as usual!

Was in at 8:30am on a Thursday. No cheerful good morning, barista was very sleepy. We were the only customers. Cappuccinos were very good. The shop was clean and welcoming.Would love if people taking up space in coffee shops to do school work or working on line to do so at home or a library. They sit for far too long taking up space from regular coffee customers.
