Our reservation for the La Jolla location was booked in mid June, however this location closed down June 25th!! No one from the restaurant called to let me know and my husband and I only found out about their closure en route to his birthday dinner. Luckily we were able to contact the location downtown and they squeezed us in. The food and service downtown was good. I just wish the La Jolla location had made a better effort to let their customers know they were closing so customers wouldn't be left SOL!! Also—they need to update this information on Open Table so customers don't keep booking reservations!

Fleming's is always top notch. They are even better enjoyed when you have an elite server. We always ask for Haylee. She is fantastic and always makes our experience that much better.

Great service and management! Incredible food and ambience here! The service was impeccable and they went above and beyond to make sure that my steak was perfect when there was a bit of issue with the amount of fat in my ribeye steak. Highly recommended!!

Very friendly staff. The variety of food is good. The atmosphere is good. Overall recommended if you are in the area and looking for a steakhouse.

The food was so delicious! We ordered the soup & a salad to start which my wife raves about the French onion soup. I ordered the bone in ribeye & she chose the Filet minion. Both cooked perfectly & we're so delicious. I highly recommend Flemings.

My wife and I went for Mother's Day with our kids as well, and had a decent time. The food was good and so were the drinks. The service was ok but not the best. We had to keep looking for our waitress. Our kids are little so we thought it was gunna be hard to keep them calm but they actually did a great job and the other servers had very good patience with kids from what I saw from the other tables with kids. It seems kid friendly but I would say it's more of a date type restaurant.

The Petite Filet Mignon & Lobster Tail Mother's Day Special for $100 was overpriced. The Filet was good sized due to thickness & peppery taste, however the 5oz. Lobster Tail was lacking in taste & size. Sadness!

The service was phenomenal. The waiter was more than knowledgeable about everything that was on the menu, and then some. Some of the items that we had ordered were not so great for example, the Caesar salad, I would expect a restaurant in this caliber to at least have a Caesar salad that would be better than let's say outback or black Angus. We also ordered a lobster, macaroni and cheese, and between the watery sauce and the vegetables that were in the mac & cheese definitely something to cook need to rethink. Most of all I understand that it's claimed to be one of the best restaurants in town, but in San Diego with all of the fantastic boutique, restaurants and eateries, we have found far better meals in restaurants with half the price a party at nine was well over $1000 and the same party of people we have been at many restaurants that have been half the price and frankly appetizers, and Andres, that were far less saturated with seasoning, and just tasted much cleaner overall compared to Flemings.

The service and ambiance was exceptional! The drinks, sides, and desserts were the best part of the meal. The steak and lobster were good, but the lobster was a little rubbery and the steak was not cooked evenly throughout. Overall I would come back, definitely worth it.

Our experience was so so. Our server was very good. She was enthusiastic and alert. The appetizers and sides were very good. The entrees, filet mignon, were disappointing. They weren't good cuts, were somewhat tough, and slightly overcooked. Not what I'd expect from a steakhouse.

We are frequent diners at Flemings and this visit did not disappoint. In the future we will opt for a booth and more privacy as this visit we sat at a table in the middle of the restaurant. Was very noisey and voices coming from all directions.

One of my favorite steakhouses in San Diego and the best in La Jolla by far. Fleming's is a guaranteed 10/10, service is always amazing, their steaks are top notch and the sides and appetizers are up there as well. I keep going back for their bone-in Rib Eye, which is tough to beat. This place leans towards a traditional steakhouse experience, don't expect bells and whistles, no exotic ingredients or unnecessary extras, just a perfect steak. The lava cake is also a must. Cocktails are great although I wouldn't come here on a night out, ambience is much more chill.Parking: Valet Parking is super convenient

Margaritas with mid shelf are now $30 each. Steaks are good, sides are meh. We like to enjoy and take our time, but 3 hours for 3 people to dine, was a bit much - Everything was super slow.

Our first visit was fantastic. We went to celebrate a birthday and we were not let down. We were a couple minutes late) and thus we had to wait to be seated but once we did we felt very special, confetti on the table, birthday wishes, the birthday sir even received a birthday card! The facility was packed and loud but overall we had an amazing experience, excellent food!

"Food was really good. Server was friendly, but not exceptional. For a high end restaurant one would expect the server to go over the menu, offer suggestions, talk about specials, something...but instead it was “are you ready to order?” Drinks were meh. Nothing exceptional there. Ambiance was lacking for a high end restaurant. Perhaps I'm being critical, but for the price point we expected more."
