First time here as a friend recommended it since they offer gluten free pasta for her. It is absolutely DELISH! The pasta was fresh, the food was hot, the drinks were very good. Someone ordered a pizza next to us and it looked divine, will definitely have to order that sometime. The waiter was very kind, even fixed an issue with our bill as a dessert I ordered never came so he took it off the bill and gave me a togo box with it. Very kind and not expected. Definitely coming back here again!

This was my second time here and everything was just as great as it was the first time. Everything I've tried and my friends have tried has been very good. This time I tried the Bolognese with pappardelle noodles and it was amazing. The portions are big as well and enough for leftovers. I definitely can't wait to go back!

Service was not good. We were rushed on the order the whole time. Food was incredibly bland. I think barely anyone touched their food. Would definitely not recommend.

Wonderful food, service and a great vibe. I think we ordered everything on the menu.....................Although a great place for the younger ones and their dates, we recommend it to our fellow "seniors".

It was a group of 6. Right off the bat, the waiter was pushy and impolite. Definitely didn't know how to read the room. Was rushing us for drink and food orders when our party wasn't even fully there. The food was so forgettable. The pizza was undercooked and just a blob. The seafood in my pasta was dry. The popeye salad was literally just spinach with some goat cheese sprinkled on top. Zero taste. Everyone's food was pretty bland. I can't believe the ratings on here.

Loved the food. Authentic Amalfi preparation. Obviously, it still tastes different cause the fresh produce isn't from Italy. California/ Mexican tomatoes are different than Italian tomatoes. I'll still rate it as one of the best in San Diego. No need to go to little Italy. It is as good as any in San Diego.BTW, Monday family deal is awesome.

This place is becoming our go to neighborhood place to eat and drink. The food is amazing, pastas are all made in house super fresh and delicious. Drinks are great and service is authentic Italian the way it should be!

Food is consistently excellent...had a amazing appetizer-Burrata Furore con Melanzane a Funghetti. Nice touch with live music. Singing by Dora Bonaventura created such a nice atmosphere. I highly recommend checking out this restaurant/musical venue!

I had gnocchi and it was good. My date had a calzone which looked more like a pizza and was not good. My salad was served the same time as my entree. The service is not good. Our waiter was rushed, no one ever asked if we needed anything. Never asked if we wanted more wine we had to ask for water, charged for bread (really?) it was like our entrees were just shoved at us! Service is just not commensurate with the prices!!

Annoyed

I don't find an "energetic" noise level to be conducive to an enjoyable dining experience. Best to book a table outside on the patio, as it is impossible to hear your tablemates inside. Didn't appreciate the dogs lying inside on the floor. When did it become okay to allow dogs inside a restaurant?

We ordered the spinach salad and lasagna. The majority of the spinach had frost on it... as if the frig was a little too cold for salad. The lasagna was very salty. My husband and I each ate a small piece then put the rest in a to go box. That box was trashed on our walk back to the car as we realized neither one of us would eat it. The service was ok, but the lasagna came out well before we finished our salads. It was luke warm by the time we ate it.

Celebrated a dear friend's birthday for Saturday lunch. At the time, it was not busy. If you're not in a rush, this is the place to be. It was our first time here and the food was delicious. There were other items that I will have to try. Will definitely come back.Parking: It was easy to find parking possibly due to the rain when we arrived at noon. There is a parking lot and a parking garage that's not too far from the restaurant. There is also street parking.

We were a part of 4 and all really enjoyed our meals of pasta and pizza. The focaccia was amazing and we enjoyed choosing individual ingredients for our old fashions! Great place to spend time with friends.

Service is very good, but the food is average for the price you pay.
