Not really a review since this is more of a FYI that it has closed permanently per the person at that location when we drop by for a visit. This was on 09/24/2018.

Oh no.. closed at 11:30 on Friday 9/21/2018. Unusual white-paper hasty CLOSED sign.. Unclear if this is Closed Closed forever, or just unexpected Closed. Anyone know? Great fresh beans to go, awesome pour-overs. Here's hoping they open again!

This place is excellent! Very knowledgeable and friendly barista and superior Cappuccino and lattes. It is a gem of place hidden in an industrial park but totally worth the scavenger hunt to find it. Come and have a coffee here, you will not regret it!

SVCR, formally known as Global Coffee Trading Co, is like the pot of gold at the end of a rainbow -- once you find it, you'll be rewarded with a richly developed brew. A small, but mighty menu. Ask for the pour-over offerings for the day. I seem to always grab for an *Ethiopia* wherever I go. Theirs is just as smooth and delicate, but still bold. It'll definitely wake you up. I love the personal attention paid to your brew; they even alert their customers to the baristas working behind the bar on a small placard out front. You know they are a leading force when it comes to coffee knowledge. They occasionally host cupping events and even latte art competitions. They brew in-house and all throughout the day. It's super neat watching their system in action as the coffee beans churn around inside the machine. Wish I knew more about the intricate process, but their equipment looks top notch. I always pop in on occasion especially after an early morning workout in the area. It took me a couple of tries the first time I found out about them, but to find them basically head towards New English Brewing and keep a look out for them on your left. You will not regret hunting down this spot!

My cousin often visits this place so I thought to try it out with him. SERVICE - I always love coffee shops where regulars just come and hangout. You can tell people love coming here to lounge and enjoy their morning coffee. I had the pleasure of meeting CJ today and she was phenomenal. Her customer service went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed here. I noticed that "regulars" would come up and she would know their names and remember little things about them. She would even know their exact order. I always wanted to come to a coffee shop where someone knew my exact order but I do not drink coffee enough to have this experience. However, it was pretty cool to see! DRINK - I tried the caramel latte and it was tasty! I am not a coffee person so I really cannot tell if one coffee is amazing and another is not, but my drink was good. I can understand why my cousin goes here now. He is definitely a regular and I can see why. The service here was fantastic!

This place is difficult to find. We drove right past it, as the GPS takes you to the wrong destination. It is located in industrial type of offices and if you look by the side walk, they do have a small sign that points towards the right way. I like the interior design and layout is small but cozy. My favorite part of the building was the retractable windows that open out to allow the outside in! Making this a chill bar area with the openness you can still enjoy the interior and exterior. The hot lattes are excellent and creamy (just the way we like them) and the staff was very hands on and you can oh so tell they pour their heart into every cup. That's what keeps people like me coming back.

First of all, great coffee. Small selection to choose from, but that when you know the people that make this wonderful liquid care more about getting it right than making it into the bastardized light brown mush they call coffee these days. Secondly, while the place is a tad bit hard to locate, it is one of the most interesting coffee places I've been too. Love how they are roasting beans right there in front of you. Checks all the boxes and more. This will be the coffee joint when I'm here.

Delicious! I started with an amazingly smooth cortado and grabbed a drip cup that tasted like smoked chocolate and nuts. My wife had the iced chai and had to get another before we left. Service was awesome and the barista was super friendly. We felt welcomed and appreciated for being there which was a nice turn from the typical turn and churn atmosphere of so many other spots. Only qualm with this place is that the location was a bit awkward. The ambiance inside is exceptional but the back of an office park doesn't feel welcoming. It felt a little odd to be honest. Once you find it and get over the uneasy location the rest is a breeze and a pleasure.

Hidden gem is an understatement. Very much tucked away, in the back part of office buildings, I am glad we did not give up looking for it, since the coffee was amazing! I huge fan of local roasters, you can really tell the difference in freshness and quality. Our iced mochas were fantastic, just the right sweetness, very good flavors, I could drink this daily, it's that good. Service is great, the space small, but has a bit of seating inside as well as out and tons of easy parking. Great option for coffee in the area, highly recommended!

I'm glad I found this place on my way to The Office. I usually roast our beans at home, but when our green bean supply had ran out and was waiting for our Sweet Maria to deliver we just couldn't wait any much longer so thanks to Yelp I found this sweet spot on my way to the grind. I'm looking forward to buying/picking up some "greens" from this fine establishment in the near future . ;-)

Awesome variety of coffee. This is the place to visit if you are a real coffee snob.

Beautiful spot in the middle of Sorrento Valley Boulevard.. great selection of coffees and preparations, super nice folks behind the counter, and you should definitely have the carrot cake.
