Just tried to go here and the doors are locked and closed but said they open @12?? Also the phone number is "no longer in service" maybe update if your closed down of have new hours?!

I came with a group to play some board games on a Saturday noon and we pretty much had the place to ourselves. The place is a perfect setup for beers and board games!

Hands down my favorite place to hang out and have a few beers. Thier pizza slices are legit as well. I enjoyed the rotating beer menu and lamented some of the beers that fell out of rotation. It's a great place to bring a group to hang out and play games or chat, or to come alone and listen to the great selection of music or talk with the great personalities behind the bar.

Christina is the best!! I was having a lousy day at work but after coming here, she definitely cheered me up. I am so thankful there’s still compassionate bartenders out there especially here at Groundswell. The beer was great and the pizza was amazing. I will definitely be back.

Hours say they are open until 10pm. Showed up at 9:10. Lights on, doors open, music playing, 15-ish people, everyone drinking, some smoking by door...was thrilled to return to one of my favorite spots. I was told by someone drinking at the bar that Groundswell was closed for a private party. Maybe have a sign, update your hours or do anything. You've lost me as a customer forever. I used to visit this location three times a week, conservatively. There are other places with the same quality or better beer who will most likely be open when they say they're open. I was looking forward to becoming a regular again. I will give my regular and routine business elsewhere.

Cute brewery tucked away! The bartender was super friendly and helpful when we were trying to decide on drinks. Lots of games and a friendly atmosphere! Highly recommend!

They have a pretty darn good list of beer options. They have a style for each person in your party, from IPA to sour. Space is quaint and laid back. There is a TV to watch and the staff is very friendly. Outdoor and indoor seating available. They do have happy hour pricing.

I go here with the boys every Thursday. Our bartender, Christina is super attentive and friendly! Awesome place to stop and grab a great tasting beer in the afternoon! Absolutely love this place.

Nice brewery near mission valley. Not too busy where you have to wait for a beer when sitting at the bar. Place is really easy going, you can listen to music that's not blasting so loud you can't talk! Good 2 dollar pizza slices and the beers are just as good. You can taste before committing. Christina is really friendly and attentive behind the bar. Give it a shot! Unless you want bad service and flat beer, go somewhere else.
