I used to stop by this place when it was opened and their service system was really good, you always get your order on time and didn’t have to wait long. At the time it was a lot of proficient workers. Now I came back only two workers work on Saturday, it is a weekend you would think they add more staffs. Ordered a waffle and was told to wait 15 mins. I waited for my waffle and it came out about 7 minutes later. I wrote this reviews because I feel bad for the staffs to see that they got slammed with a bunch of customers during the afternoon, seeing one person do all the drink and making waffles and the other cashier is busy taking orders. Not sure why this establishment doesn’t add more staffs to ease pressure for their workers. OmOmo has around 5-6 staffs member in the front and gosh know how much more in the back. And their drink waiting time came out very efficiently. Happy lemon should do that too considering Saturday is a weekend!!

I had a great experience here at Happy Lemon! Despite having many customers, they processed my order extremely quickly, and it was ready within minutes. By the time I got my table set up outside, I realized they finished my order. Their menu was very diverse and had a lot of options for both food and drink. The ordering process was very quick and efficient. The food was delicious as well. Overall I had a great experience.

It's nice that Happy Lemon is open later than Omomo. It's staffed by high schoolers, and they like to randomly and suddenly turn the music up really loud and then turn it up even louder, presumably instead of just asking us to leave. Really weird behavior. I hope they don't run for Congress. Not a lot of low-calorie non-caffeinated drinks for late night. I ended up getting a Yakult Lemon drink without the green tea (just water). It was kind of too sour but overall fine. The total was $6. I think the cashier did give me a discount for having to order sort of a sad drink. The best part about this Happy Lemon is that there's a small trampoline in the lounge area outside.

Last few times we ordered via doordash, they got our order wrong and didn't add the paid boba we put. This time the same drink has no boba or lychee jelly(even though we paid for it), they gave us the wrong person's drink(we didn't get our third drink that we actually ordered and couldnt drink the cheese drink they gave us), and the drinks we're SO sweet even though we ordered 50% sweetness. I don't recommend this location due to the inconsistency and quality of this place, however other locations are much better. BTW our order was under the name of Mai and we got Neil's order(cheese drink)

The place is super clean and cute, they have enough space for the people. The personal also is super nice en very helpful. For me the boba drink was okay, it was not super special, I think there are better boba drinks in other places. But if you want you Can try it and have your own opinion. :)

What a fun stop. Large green tea peach boba with salted cheese is about $7. The salted cheese sounds gross but it’s a think milky foam with a salty flavor which is delicious! This place has a great selection. It’s a nice treat.

I loved this area in DelMar! Cute little shop. I got the strawberry lemonade with 25% sweetness. Added lychee jelly. It was so yummy! My bestie got the brown sugar boba and omg it was phenomenal!! I can’t wait to go back! My drink was $7
