The best sushi I have ever tasted. The “RollsRoyce Roll” is something I get every visit. It is S P E C T A C U L A R!! Please DO NOT CHANGE. I’m well traveled globally and had sushi many places but none are as good as Harney Sushi in Old Town, San Diego. I don’t live near there but do get to pass through town several times each year. I visit every time. I cant wait to go back!

My wife and I had our 3 year anniversary dinner here last Thursday night and everything was absolutely amazing. The hostess sat us right away and gave us a plethora of options in which where we would be the most comfortable sitting. She was very pleasant and sweet. Our waiter Manny took exceptional care of us and was on top of everything and very attentive to our needs. He was a joy and bright shining light to have as a server. The food at Harney is so amazing it's hard to put into words how much blood, sweat, and tears they must put into their product because everything from the sushi to Mongolian Beef tastes like a bit of heaven! The cocktails are amazing too and everything is decently priced for the high quality of food you're getting. Thanks to the whole Harney team for making my experience great yet again! See y'all soon!!!

Went here once on vacation and now it is a stop for me everytime I drive from LA to San Diego. The sushi is exquisite, they even have lots of tasty vegan options!! Through a separate entrance there's a bar, that almost serves as a speakeasy type of place, really cute. Definitely a must have if you're in Oceanside

This place was recommended by a friend and we were so glad we came here for date night! The ceviche was the perfect appetizer, and the rolls were so good. The rolls Royce was my favorite, but they were ALL good. So many good options it was hard to decide... Can't wait to come back & try more out!

One of the best sushi places in San Diego hands down. Everything is so fresh and incredible. Service is amazing as well. The staff is super kind and patient. Love the vibe of this place. My favorite things from here would have to be the Javier's ceviche, unwritten Law-Bacore sashimi, & the rollz Royce roll. Those are just favs but everything else is delicious as well! Love this place and will continue to support this business!

Right off the bat, the atmosphere welcomed me with its lively yet comfortable ambiance. The true gem of my visit, however, was the service provided by Jocelyn, the bartender. Her expertise and affability were as refreshing as the ice-cold Sake served to perfection. Jocelyn had an uncanny ability to anticipate my palate preferences, guiding me through an array of exquisite side dishes that harmonized beautifully with each other. Her recommendations, from the crispy orange chicken to the zesty house specials, were spot on. It's rare to find someone who not only excels at their craft but also elevates your dining experience to a memorable event. Jocelyn did just that, making my evening both delicious and delightful. It's the kind of service that not only makes a meal but also cements a restaurant as a must-visit destination in my book. Harney Sushi is definitely on my list for a revisit, and I hope Jocelyn will be there to surprise me with yet another culinary adventure.

Ordered takeout for pickup on a Saturday. Keep in mind sometimes there is a street market on the weekends and parking can be difficult. There was a little bit of a wait for my order when I got there but not a huge deal! There is a parking lot across from the restaurant but $12/hour so keep that in mind! Sushi was fresh and portions were big. We got 3 rolls and it was plenty for 2 people! Definitely get the rollz Royce!

This is a little hidden gem in Old Town San Diego. We found it by accident a couple of years back and have made it a tradition to come back every year. I have never had the same rolls twice. It’s a must go!
