Every time I’m in Liberty Station I eat here. It’s super fresh and so tasty. It’s not one of those sushi bowl poke places where you get 50 toppings, it’s actually way better than any of those places. Simple poke bowls with a focus on the fish, which again is very good quality. One small bowl fills me up. Can’t believe some of the complaints in these reviews! I’ve never had a bad experience or left hungry and I’ve eaten here 25+ times.

I absolutely love Hawaiian Fresh Seafood's Shoyu Ahi! I regularly buy a pound to create my own culinary masterpieces at home. The quality of the ahi is outstanding, making my homemade poke bowls/ hand rolls with green onions, avocado, and sesame oil-infused rice a delightful experience. For ceviche, the ahi complements perfectly with purple onion, cilantro, cucumber, Serrano, and sliced carrots (eat with tortilla chips). Exceptional seafood that elevates my dishes!

Small little spot in Liberty Station with really fresh and flavorful protein choices. Comes with rice and nori on top, making for a simple but yummy meal. Would've liked a bit more food for the price, but it was delicious nonetheless!

4.5 starsThis is my favorite poke shop in San Diego. Ever since good time poke shop closed I've been on a search for some good poke. I automatically excuse places that spell it poki, cause that's not even how its pronounced. Most places have too many options, once I see all these choices of edamame, cucumber, seaweed salad, ect.. its a no.This is plain and simple poke the way its made in Hawaii. Not too many ingredients, the fish is fresh, not previously frozen. I like that the only options are shredded nori and extra shoyu sauce. You can also choose white or brown rice or salad. They also sell poke by the pound, but I got a bowl of shoyu ahi with white rice. It was really good and probably the closest you can get to Hawaii without making it yourself. The fish was fresh and I was glad I got the extra shoyu sauce, it was very tasty and simple they way it should be. I hear they sell day old poke that you can buy at a discounted price, I'd give that a try and make my own rice at home. They have Dole whip and Bubbies mochi ice cream if u decide to have dessert there. I came at an off hour and there was still a line out the door, but it moved quickly and I got my food in a reasonable time. There were a few tables inside and lots of parking at Liberty Station. Its located on the back side closer to the Public Market but not inside the market. Directly the opposite side of Trader Joes.If you like traditional style poke then this is the place for you, if you're used to the new style with all the other toppings the maybe not, but the fish is fresh not frozen so you can tell the difference.

FRESH, GREAT QUALITY, TASTY Poke! always a good variety to choose from and are rotating daily. They do give in my opinion huge scoops so I think the price is fair and I will gladly keep paying it! AND THEY HAVE DOLE WHIP. ^-

I usually go to the sorrento valley location and it always hits! This time I decided to check out this location since I was at the Liberty station market. I got the spicy Mayo poke with salad. They overdid it on the sriracha so it wasn't as consistent as the fish in sorrento valley. There's very limited seatings inside but you can find some seats outdoor and they also have discounted poke from the batch the night before! Follow the signs to find the location.

This is hands down the best poke place I've been to outside of Hawaii itself. The price is fair for California prices. A lot of these reviews are saying that it is too expensive, but the poke plate is a large amount of food and ~$21 is totally fair for the super fresh fish and wonderful seasoning.

Food in general is overpriced and all you get is a scoop of rice & scoop of fish (no additional toppings besides seaweed). When I get a poke bowl, I expect to have additional toppings such as seaweed salad, cucumber, carrots, etc. but got none of that here. My friends and I were still hungry and went to the other stores at Liberty Station to get more food.
