The orange blossom latte is one of the best coffees I’ve ever had. This place is so lovely and inviting. The food is exceptional and the coffee is amazing.

Nice place to have a coffee,The contrast between old ceramic containers on decor and new plastic raps in use, settled dry flowers and moveable fresh flowers is visually playful and joyful. like the jars collection and the natural aesthetic engages in minimalism. A little primitive in practical elegance.Desert is good, personally prefer a little less sweetnessWill return definitely!

Every time I come in, the staff is so friendly and welcoming. I really enjoy the inside and outside atmosphere to take my time reading. Still haven’t found a coffee I particularly love. However, their desserts are AMAZING and beautiful!

Everything about this place is wonderful. I'm glad it's low-key and doesn't have long lines on weekends.Things you should know:I. PARKINGYou'll have to rely on street parking for this cafeII. SERVICEThe owner, himself, took my order. He kindly let me know his wife decorated the interior and they support a local floral business with arrangements around the shop. Also, the place is dog friendly..!III. QUALITYI really enjoyed the fine details of this cafe, including the custom made pottery I drank my double espresso from. The pastries? Phenomenal. As a baker myself, the slightly acidic strawberry reduction was a beautiful pairing with the alkaline and fluffy sesame cream.! Highly recommend trying the black sesame dessert.IV. CAPACITYSeating is slim. There's about 5 tables up front and then seating that continues in the back.

Hinar is an exceptional dining experience! The desserts were absolutely delicious, and the service was impeccable. The staff were incredibly respectful and attentive, always ready to explain dishes and offer recommendations. What truly stood out was the team’s eagerness to assist; at one point, three people were ready to help at once, ensuring no one was left waiting. Hinar truly goes above and beyond to create a welcoming and memorable dining experience. Highly recommended!

The place is spacious, however it is very busy so you will be lucky if you find a space. Their coffee is delicious, and the desserts are also delicious. The cashier did speak Spanish, which I appreciated. In general everyone very friendly.

Amazing cafe that reminded me of some cafes I visited overseas in S. Korea and Europe. Must try the orange latte, loved it!
Absolutely gorgeous Cafe and ambience. Cappuccino is perfect, they have many different milk options, and the cakes are so good. Not very gluten, friendly, but they looked very good! The banana Corcoran has a cake layer at the very bottom which meant I could pick off the top and enjoyed it!Dietary restrictions: Not very gluten friendly

Went here around my birthday and it was at night so it was kind of crowded (also like any other bakery when you go there a couple hours before they close the inventory will be scarce .) Anyways I love their cheesecake. Love the consistency of it and definitely the flavor ?. It’s located downtown so parking can be a little bit of an issue. My husband ran inside to order for us and he said the customer service was good. Posted my receipt for price reference. Price point for me was a bit high, but I will say the cheesecake slice was so massive you can honestly share that amongst 3 ppl.
So beautiful and delicious! Was pleasantly surprised by the service and atmosphere. All around 10/10 experience. Highly recommend the black sesame and strawberry cake pairing :)

A delightful, cozy place to enjoy our after dinner espresso and dessert. Like others have noted, the space is aesthetically pleasing. There is more seating in the back of the restaurant as well as outdoor space. We arrived around 7:20 PM, so there was not a big selection of pastries left, but what we did order was incredible. The “Lotus” cheesecake was so fluffy and the perfect combination of sweet & tangy. The black sesame with strawberry jam reminded me of a classic Japanese dessert- light and not overly sweet. Their signature orange blossom latte (hot) was such a delight and so beautifully aromatic. For those complaining about the small espresso selection… no need when they have their signature orange blossom. My only complaint is the drink was lukewarm upon arrival. The owners were so appreciative, friendly, and it was nice to hear them share their background and how they came up with the concept and design of Hinar. I’m excited to return during the day to try their other desserts and try the orange blossom over ice. It is a bit pricey but it was date night!

Nice design (cakes and interior). The cakes are good, inspired by French recipes, with twists. But it’s clearly overpriced for the culinary aspect of it.

I came here on a Saturday afternoon and at the time most of the cakes were sold out or waiting to be replenished. I ended up ordering the lemon poppy cake and it was the perfect balance of light and airy, refreshingly sour, not too sweet, and with a subtle floral hint. If I weren't in SD for a short time I would definitely come back to try the other cakes! The interior of the café is spacious and calm, and is the perfect setting to get some work done, catch up with friends, or just take a midday break.

Great atmosphere, great service and owner, and delicious deserts and hot drinks. It’s one of the few cafes open late, and they have some games with indoor and outdoor seating. Would definitely return and recommend
