Always great to go to the holy matcha downtown. Most times no ones there, and I love staring at the wall of prink flowers.

DONT GET THE MATCHA CHAI!! Geebus, you might as well put a little cinnamon in a cup of dirt water. They should have paid ME $9 for such a gross experience. 0/5My girlfriend liked her rose matcha so it goes up to a 1/5, and to be fair, the staff were all very nice. That chai was Booty tho.

I’m writing this in hopes that it’ll help bring some awareness and get better. The matcha is great, but every time I go here it’s something new, always a problem with something. The ice machine is constantly broken, always out of ingredients or supplies, food is out or not good. When I get the toast it’s either not toasted at all or the avocado is black and rotten. I’d rather they just tell me that it would be rotten so that I wouldn’t have to waste $13 on something inedible. I really want this place to succeed but it’s super important to make sure your business is functional if you’re going to serve people. I’ll try again soon, but I need a break from being let down for a bit.

Feeling like pink nature. Stone print-like seating with little tables under cherry blossom. I had a delicious and strong lavender matcha latte. Bathroom for customer use.

Great little spot for some brunch and Matcha. The drinks menu is really extensive and has a lot of options. The staff were really friendly and knew their stuff, couldn’t do enough for us. Worth a visit for sure.

Really disappointed for a place with Matcha in the name. I visited on a weekday morning and there wasn't a line. Parking is kind of challenging so unless you're in the area and walking, plan for extra time to park. The service was great, very friendly and knowledgeable. The matcha was disappointing. A matcha should be a deep green, not light green. The oat milk they use is not good quality either, it's very watery and not creamy at all. There are only two brands of oat milk that are good: Oatly and Califia. The inside is quite pretty but not very warm or welcoming. I wouldn't hang out here. I love the pink everywhere. No hard feelings against the business. I just wish the matcha was better. The pictures do not match what you actually get. A pastel green is not a quality matcha latte, I couldn't even taste the matcha.

Can’t say enough good things about this place. The one in North Park is a regular hangout for me cos of the great vibes and great menu. ⭐️✨✨✨

9:30 AM Friday. Not busy. Great service and atmosphere. Worker very knowledgeable about matcha. I tried the ceremonial matcha which was prepared the traditional way with a whisk. And yes it makes a difference. I got the pure matcha without anything added. Tastes a lot better than the regular matcha I've purchased from Costco. It has a more pleasant flavor and less bitterness. I've you've had lower quality matcha you know it can be bitter and have a "strong" flavor. This ceremonial matcha was entirely different. This location does not sell the matcha for home use but the stores web site offers it. This high quality matcha doesn't need sugar or milk to make it enjoyable. It has a friendly easy flavor and it makes you feel good.

Very cute inside. The drink was small and not worth $6 at all. I got the lavender matcha latte with almond milk. It tasted like almond milk with an aftertaste of matcha. I didn't taste the lavender at all. Staff was friendly enough and service was quick.

A small shop that is nicely decorated in the inside that is great for photos. I actually came here a year ago as well so now this is my second time. Ive tried the strawberry match and what I believe is called Holiest of Holy? (Pictured below. The strawberry match was very good. Got it with some agave so it had a good sweet flavor to it and the matcha tasted amazing. I usually a packet of matcha from costco and the taste difference is big when having fresh matcha. The holiest of holy was a mixture of many different things including ashwaganda and definitely tasted different. It wasgood as well but I would prefer a normal matcha. The service was great for the store. When I came in its only one person at the counter and the person was always helpful with any question regarding what some ingredients are in the drinks. This places menu has a good selection as well!

Holy matcha, this place is photogenic! The decor is cute and trendy with lots of pink and plants. This would be a great spot to sit and chat with friends. It might be alright to study at but I didn't spot any outlets when I quickly perused the space. The only staff member I saw when I came on a weekday afternoon was super sweet and friendly. When I wasn't sure what to order, she offered to make me a combination of two of their popular drinks: the horchata matcha latte and the strawberry matcha latte. The drink was smaller than I expected and more expensive than I expected (almost $9 when I thought each drink was $8, not sure if there was an upcharge for the combined drink she offered me). The drink was tasty, having a stronger horchata flavor with a hint of strawberry and less matcha coming through. The staff member kindly let me know that if I wanted any adjustment to the sweetness, she would happily add some more agave to my drink, but it was just right. Located at the edge of the center of North Park, Holy Matcha is walking distance to many cute shops and restaurants. Parking isn't the easiest in that area but I quickly found street parking a couple blocks away on a weekday around 5:30pm. I'm not in a hurry to return, but I'd certainly recommend Holy Matcha for an adorable matcha drink, and a great variety of matcha drinks, in a picturesque cafe. The greatest drawback to me was the lack of matcha flavor in my pricey horchata & strawberry matcha latte.

Place was clean with a very simple/minimalist feel. The cashier/barista was friendly and prompt. I will admit, matcha is not my forte, but my wife was diggin’ it. I will say tho: two 12oz drinks for just under $14? Uff. ?
