We had loco moco, shrimp, teriyaki chicken, and strawberry lemonade. The teriyaki is the best, then shrimp then loco moco. I feel like the loco moco was dry and shrimp was a bit overcooked. But the fried chicken teriyaki was delicious, and very crispy. The waitstaff service was very attentive which is nice. I initially didn't think my lemonade had enough syrup but they did give me more though which is nice of them. We had to wait abit before we got seated but there wasn't a line which was good for a Friday evening. Overall, it's a good piece to get a full stomach since all their entrees had salad and rice.

The food is really good with a lot of options. They are pretty quick and friendly individuals. The restaurant itself is clean and decorated nicely.

I've eaten there several times in the past food is really good. Prices are a little high, but that's to be expected with today's market. Would definitely recommend good Hawaiian food for a local shop.

Amazing, amazing, amazing! Delicious Hawaiian food! Customer Service was on point, I called in and placed an order and I really appreciated how they read back my order and confirmed the location I was picking up the food from since they have multiple locations. I also received a text once my order was ready to pick up. The whole experience of placing the order was easy and seamless. The ambiance inside had a relaxing vibe. I will definitely be coming back to eat inside also. We ordered the mahi-mahi with capers, and it came with macaroni salad, and rice. We also ordered the garlic shrimp scampi, and chose a green salad and macaroni salad. Lastly, I ordered the teriyaki chicken plate with macaroni salad, and rice. The macaroni salad was delicious and noodles were al dente, the salad itself was creamy and yummy. The mahi-mahi with capers and garlic shrimp were amazing. Mahi, mahi is my go to and the cream sauce with capers had the lemon flavor that I really loved. The shrimp were huge and butterflied with a big garlic flavor. The teriyaki chicken was also delicious and tender. They also have a pretty big parking lot as this location is in a shopping center so parking is easy to find. I parked within a minute of arriving. Definitely will be coming back when I'm craving Hawaiian seafood!

We have loved homestyle for as long as we've been coming here, unfortunately the Quality of food and service on a declining trend. There was an issue with rotten Mac salad that kept me away for a while, but I believe in second chances and supporting local, so here we are trying again only to be served over fried Korean chicken and watery lemonades. Ordered to go and the girl who took the order was distracted and conversing, not paying attention. Ordered a bbq mix plate all rice no mac, got a bbq chicken plate with rice and Mac. We will no longer be customers of homestyle Hawaiian.

Food was mediocre ; but the lumpia was very good. The service was poorwith one plate served 5 minutes before the 2nd plate was delivered. The rice and macaroni salad didn't have much flavor. There was large portions.

Nice layout at this location, with a good selection of draft beers plus lots of tables. We went for the loco moco and a few beers. One of the beers ran out halfway through the pour, so they comped the half beer and asked what we would like as a replacement. The loco moco stood out with the lightly grilled onions and sauteed mushrooms, but the burger patty was amazing. A lean patty that was nice and thick - did not seem to be one of those frozen patties out of a box. Overall, the loco moco was legit and the atmosphere is just right.

This was my first time trying this restaurant and I loved it! The ambiance is great with relevant decor, the lighting is dimmed which adds a more intimate feel, and the music added a lovely layer to the experience. There are different kinds of seating and tables like booths, high tops, and regular tables which I appreciated. The staff were very friendly and checked in on us frequently. We ordered 1 Spam Musibu and 1 Korean Chicken Musubi as appetizers. Let's just say I didn't include a photo because it was that good! The flavor was delicious and the spam musubi had some spunk, almost like a smokey flavor which made it more than just an ordinary spam musubi. My boyfriend and I shared a 2-Item Combo with the Lava Chicken and Teri Beef which also comes with a side of rice and macaroni. The portion was large enough to feed us both for dinner, along with the musubis. The lava chicken was crispy and juicy, very delicious! The Teri beef had a great sauce and was cooked well. As always, Hawaiian macaroni hit the spot. We also ordered a Kona Wave and Mango Peach Smash and they served it in cute glasses (shown in the video). Overall, I loved the food and the ambiance at this restaurant and I can't wait to come back to try some of the seafood dishes!

I usually get the build-your-own combo (Kalua and Katsu). Before COVID, they had a steak item that was unusually good for the price, and I really miss it! I haven't ever had bad service at this restaurant. The only "negative" is that they seem to be understaffed, but that hasn't stopped them from having really good service. It's a bit hidden, but the plaza has great parking. Been going to this restaurant once every few months since 2016, and I don't plan to stop any time soon.

Great place! Food is amazing. Get extra lava sauce. And the mac salad is delicious. Definitely recommend it.

I tried to call for pickup 45 minutes before closing & no one picked up the phone. 30 minutes until closing time & someone finally picked up. I asked if it was still possible to order for a pick up & whoever the female hostess was just left me hanging on the phone for a minute then just hung up on me. I called again & no one ever bothered to pick up the phone. I have been a customer at the Tierrasanta location for at least 4 years now & many more at the Mesa location & there have been times where we were disappointed, but I have never been so annoyed with the customer service. Please train your employees about professionalism over the phone!

This place is so good! We always call ahead for pick up. We also usually double up on the pasta salad salad because of how good it is! You can't go wrong with anything you order. Also, the masalas are bomb!
