Stopped here on the way home from the beach. Located in a nice shopping area with a lot of parking. I ordered the Time Travelers Wife #235. It is one of their veggie options. It was pretty yummy but I think their prices are a bit high. They do have quite a few veggie options which is a plus. It wasn't busy when I stopped by and there was only one other customer waiting. The employees are very helpful and friendly.

just wasn't very good :/ both sandwiches were kinda bland and dry, one was missing the meat it was supposed to come with. the menu feels repetitive. maybe i should of ordered differently but we order two signature sandwiches with no modifications and still they were just really disappointing. especially for $14 a sandwich. idk the service was really slow, we weren't in a rush, but like we were the only people in there and they also didn't seem busy behind the counter and it took a good while before someone took our order.

Need to give an update. Some of my past favorite sandwiches have been removed from the menu and I'm pretty sure they will never bring them back. Vegan steak still seems to be missing. Sandwiches are very good but just a bit too expensive

Ikes is always fire. Beast mode, Phil Mickelson, and the jamie sirewich are my go to's. The Dutch crunch is the best sandwich bread in town. Add avo to your beast mode it's so good. The manager is incredibly friendly and has made this location a lot of fun to go to. I went in and asked about blue raspberry blow pops and like a week later they had them in the bags. They listen to their customers and that's big to me. Always a lover of Ikes. Will always go back when I want a sandwich.Friend got a paul Reubens and it looked awesome. We both ate all the sandwiches. I assume he liked the food haha !Vegetarian options: They have a good portion of vegetarian options, more than your average shop. It's nice to see even though I don't order any.

I've been to Ike's probably 20+ times across 4 locations in San Diego, and Brian at the Ike's Del Mar location gave me the best service I've ever had at an Ike's. He was so friendly, very courteous, and it felt like we had been friends for a long time just by how kind he was. GIVE THE MAN A RAISE. He is a huge asset to Ike's. As we were enjoying our delicious food, my wife and I also heard him checking in on his coworkers to make sure they were doing ok in the busy lunch rush. The sandwich was fantastic as always and came out very fast. I recommend Ike's to so many people.

Excellent sub sandwiches. Their house sauce is great. Service is excellent and you can customize your sandwiches any way you'd like. They have lots of specialized subs. Highly recommend.

Every once in a while, it’s so rare, you find someone that is so amazing you feel the review needs to be about them. Yes the food here is amazing and I love Ike’s. But the manager here is beyond amazing. The nicest person you could ever meet. He greets every customer with a genuine smile and deeply cares about the guests.I haven’t seen such an amazing employee in decades. I was literally blown away watching him work. He is a gem come in and say hi to him. You are lucky he came into your day!!! You will love the food and walk out feeling special too. So rare. Trust meHis name is Brian.

Just give it a try to number 98 if you love fried chicken sandwich, it was really fresh juicy chicken. I ordered everything on it and also asked for extra ranch which the guy the handed me with great smile. Although they were busy with orders, my sandwich was ready within a minute. Place was clean and service was fast. Again highly recommend this location.

I have been to many sandwich places but this place Ike's Love & Sandwiches takes the cake! Their sandwiches are phenomenal and the best I have ever had! I went in there this evening and the customer service was outstanding. The two guys working there were friendly and even asked my opinion about a movie. I highly recommend this spot if sandwiches are your thing. I give them a 9.8 out of 10.

Came to this location for the first time today with my husband for lunch. We were greeted by the manager when we first walked in and asked us what we would like to order. He was very friendly and repeated our order back to us to make sure everything was correct. It wasn't too busy when we went in and the restaurant looked clean and tidy. The sandwiches were delicious and didn't take too long to make. I've seen other reviews on here where people have complained about lack of meat on their sandwiches but we had a totally different experience. We will definitely be back at this location again due to the friendly staff and good sandwiches.
