We came the other day and had a very good meal, I had shrimp scampi which was great, my girlfriend had swallows nest pasta dish which was very good, great old school atmosphere, live music, and great staff !

The food was absolutely delicious. I had the tortellini Verde wish there was more but I couldn't even eat at all. I just didn't want my plate to end. The wine was yummy and they were so friendly and helpful.

Best Italian food I've had in a long time. Shrimp scampi is definitely the must try dish here. Delicious garlic bread and salad as well. Their speciality cocktail, Lemon Drop Martini was sooo very good!

Jack & Giulio's still brings the quality and the freshness to each dish. I have been here more than a few times in the past. I have to say I was worried about the quality and the service I was used to. Let me say that I was pleasantly surprised by both. Thank you for a great dining experience and keeping the dream alive for so many.

The food was excellent, best meal we’ve had out in a long, long time. The insalata was amazing, and our entrees of veal piccata and chicken Marsala were perfect.The service was equal to the food. José was our server. His service was impeccable. Perfect timing and never rushed. He is a gentleman’s gentleman with perfect manners who made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Special kudos to José for that.I will return whenever we are in San Diego. It’s a gem.

As usual, food was delicious ! We have been going for over 40 years - starting when the restaurant was in Pacific Beach. One of our long standing favorite restaurants . Greeted like family friends.

We really like Italian food. We have been disappointed with a number of Italian restaurants that were much better two years ago. We live about a mile from Jack & Giulio's Italian, but did not know that it existed. What a treat! We found what I expect will be our first choice in Italian restaurants in San Diego.

Service and atmosphere were outstanding. We had one issue with a dish, but it was promptly replaced with a different one...outlined below.In my opinion, the chicken piccata was not great. The chicken had absolutely zero sear so it was pretty bland. It was tender, but also had no color or flavor. Almost like it was poached or boiled. Also, the mushrooms were very clearly from a jar or can. No capers...chicken wasn't dredged in flour.That said, our server was quick to replace it with the spaghetti bolognese and it was much better.Overall, we were pleased....the prices were reasonable and we'll be back.

What a wonderful place took our best friends there for New Year's Eve dinner, and had the greatest time had an awesome server named Sergio, who took the best care of us. Great place to have Italian food.

Another Chef, who we greatly admire, introduced us to Jack And Giulio's. He said it was one of his favorite Italian restaurants. That was five years ago and we go at least 3 to 5 times a year. We generally take guests and their reaction is always the same as ours: they love the food and ambience.
