Food and service is good. The location is killer. I suggest getting early for a good bar seat but great overall.

This is one of my go-to spots in San Diego. The view is always impressive and the food is priced very fairly. Order the taquitos or the chicken & waffles!

Just finished having a wonderful lunch with our group and Mari + the staff went above and beyond to make our experience at JRDN one for the books! Loved that our table was indoor/outdoor. What a beautiful day! She offered to take a picture of our group and always made sure we had everything we needed. Super grateful she was our server. Food was phenomenal as usual. I had the Cali Roll and Calamari *chef's kiss* We will be back soon!

We have gone for the past two years for our anniversary. The food is always delicious sometimes the service tasks a few minutes longer than we expect. The energy of the restaurant is airy during lunch and a bit moody during dinner creating a multidimensional restaurant.

Great brunch spot located by the beach - one of my favorite places to bring out of town guests. Recommend reservations.

Great location, a must to be at the terrace with view on the boardwalk and the beach.Good food and nice service, just got caught off guard when we could not sub the side of potatoes with some basic lettuce, something we routinely do at sole many places…

Extremely slow service, especially with the restaurant only being half full. Waited over 15 minutes after ordering just to get a beer (3 bartenders were "working" behind the bar). The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't memorable either.

Came here for a sunset dinner but unfortunately it ended up drizzling and we couldn't watch the sunset. I made the reservation outdoors a month prior and thankfully the hostess was able to sit us inside. However we were sat right under a vent so it was quite chilly. The oysters were a great deal and we went at 5pm so they still had happy hour for drinks! The short rib bucatini was delicious

A local who walks past regularly, we were reluctant to try...hotel restaurants in a high tourist area are not my target destinations. Boy, was I wrong! At first, walking in, the noise level was extreme with just chatter, even being fully open to the outside. Looking at the menu, neither of us were very inspired or tempted. In the end we just ordered some smaller dishes to share. We started out with some of their creative cocktails which were excellent, our server was helpful in selecting them. Next we had the bread (menu just said 'chef's selection') and the arugula salad. The bread was two large, perfectly made biscuits- flakey and hot, a little crunch on the outside and plenty of flavor (could taste bacon and looked like some cheese, too?). The salad very generous (glad we were sharing!) with a large burrata and nicely dressed. Next we shared the lamb pops. It was on the starters list but 4 decent sized pops, perfectly cooked to order with chermoula, dukkah and hummus for a Moroccan-ish twist. The Cali Dreaming roll was last and also large enough to share and tasty. Now we want to try their lunch and breakfast menus! Service and food excellent. And came with a stunning view of the sunset. I had to knock off one star purely for the noise level. If we hadn't been able to sit next to each other, we would have been yelling across the table the whole night.

Very beautiful restaurant in an incredible location. The food is pretty good, tasty and filling, but you're paying for the location and the views of sunset over PB pier. I love the house made bread here. The service is quick and friendly, vibes of the restaurant are a little upscale but still young in PB. I may or may not come here because it was pricey for slightly above average food, but the experience at sunset was great.
