This place was just okay. I ordered a croissant sandwich which was pretty dry and the potatoes were salty. The fruit was yummy. Husband said pancakes and omelette were fine but nothing special. The kids left their food behind as they didn’t really care for it.

Worked in the area today and got there early to try a new BFast place. Service and seating were fast. Place was somewhat empty, but it was early, 8am. Server was polite and repeated my order back to me. Which I like. Prices are about the same as other places, Food is coming so I will finish after eating.Ok... done eating. I gotta say, I swathe place and almost didn't go in. Glad I did. Good service for San Diego, Which is not known for good customer service. So good job. Eggs were perfect mediums, pancakes were just right. Good portion. The whole meal was just like a mom and pop in Chicago or Detroit. Good job folks. I will be back when I'm in the area.

I really wanted to like this place, sorry to say the food was gross. I witnessed them heating the bacon and sausage in the microwave. They put two items on my bill that was not ordered (servers do this so the manager can comp off the item after customer leaves so they can pocket the difference as a tip). Food had a bad after taste. The nice atmosphere was the only plus.

First time here and it definitely has an older restaurant vibe. The staff are extremely friendly and very welcoming. The food was good and the prices were also good. Parking was easy.

Do not try to pay with Apple Pay. They don’t give too many options if you order by phone and try to pay with Apple Pay. The lady at the counter doesn’t even know how to use the Apple payment. Food was wasted and came out with no food. Their system doesn’t even allow to put the card info to do the payment. Terrible service with the young person who didn’t even try to help.

Delicious breakfast! Beef chorizo was so flavorful with spice from fresh jalapeño. Our friend got the pancakes which were perfectly cooked and so fluffy! Overall service was great and staff were efficient and kind!

I was@ kamila's restaurants this morning 1/14/2024 my bill was $30.37 but they changed my card $71.06, I asked to speak to the manager, I asked her to to look at how much I was being charged, and I asked her to fix it. She said she was sorry for over charging me $40 dollars more than what I was supposed to pay...please check how much they charged you before you leave the restaurants.

Showed up at 1:45 to eat lunch and Gloria rushes to the door to flip the sign to closed. When I said that their sign says open til 2 she says "not today, we're closing early." Very disrespectful. Will not be returning if this is how they conduct business.

Wanted to leave a review for management specifically, but also didn’t want to take down the reviews with a bad experience. We’ve been coming into Kamilla’s for years, and we’ve brought family and friends to come here for breakfast many times.Today we came in after not being able to for a few months and we were a little disappointed. The pricing of the food went up, which were okay with but it seemed the quality of the food went down. The French toast bread was different (maybe thinner), the home potatoes had one piece of a green bell pepper in it when it used to be colorful. We also weren’t treated very kindly by our server Gloria. She seemed to be bothered by small asks, brought us our check before we were even half way done with our food. To be honest, I likely wouldn’t have taken the time to write the review if the service would have been great. I would have just written it off as a “bad kitchen day”.

Picked up a chilaquiles meal for $17 and literally threw it in the trash after a few bites. Hopefully their other options are edible and more authentic.
