I recently discovered this place, and it's amazing. There's also a big sign w/ their specials, love that. I'm restricted on food because of severe food allergies and they have a sign that warns about cross contamination and unfortunately 1 of my major nightmare foods was on it, BUT when I ordered (I hadn't yet seen their sign) I asked if they could please be mindful and the cashier wrote a note for my food and everything was perfect. This place can become quite busy, but they handle it, and keep the line moving. And I've been in customer service for decades, so I know how stressful it can be, but their cashiers are some of the most friendliest and smiliest people I've ever met, in my life. Thank you for EVERYTHING, y'all rock. Also, seriously, this place has the creamiest avocados I've ever eaten, they're so delicious

It's not Coco's Curry what is exactly what you would expect from Japanese Curry. Are the most of the staff aren't Japanese the food still tasted very much like it was made in Japan. Ironically, I don't think that they know that. There were definitely Japanese on staff who probably direct a lot of the cooking.

Went here on a Saturday night with 2 other people. There was a line at the cashier but it moved quickly. Plenty of seating available and the decor was homey-Hawaiian style. We ordered the katsu curry plates. Rice was Japanese, mac salad was pretty good. I got the tonkatsu which was juicy and tender. The chicken katsu was really dry. The ebi furai was sweet and tender. Curry was also pretty good. For the price, $14 including tax and tip this was such a great deal. Definitely coming back to try their other dishes, especially the tempura platter and the noodles.
I've gone 3 times and the customer service has been horrendous. The wait time to get my food was ridiculous while I've seen customers come and go before my food arrives. The last time I went I ordered a soup with extra egg and in the time I waited 2 separate customers arrived, ordered the same soup and got them before me. I spoke to the waitress and told her to cancel my order, return the extra money for the egg and return my tip and she did not return the egg or my tip. I will not be coming here again. I would give 0 stars if I could.

The vibes there are immaculate and food is really tasty, highly recommend!
Really a good spot for a variety of food options. The portion size is huge and comes most of the plate comes either side of rice, salad, soup.The sushi rolls were amazing.We tried the katsu chicken place, teriyaki chicken, sushi and spicy miso ramen!Service was fast and food came in early. Ambiance is nothing too fancy but they have tables outside and we loved sitting and basking in the winter sun !

After a GREAT FOOD devastation.... Reasonable Price: especially their "Happy Hour" menu. We were served in a timely manner despite of them having a long line outside. Delicious food: Sushi and Ramen. Riley provided and guided us through their menu. She's GREAT! AWESOME Customer Service. I highly recommend this place, a true GEM in Kearny Mesa Area.
