Best whiskey sour I have ever had, hands down, even better than these specialty cocktail bars. And I didnt even get to the food yet. The crispy duck thighs were out of this world with a delicious, but not overpowering, mustard sauce. And the chocolate cake?! Omg....still thinking about that. Service was excellent, and the interior is just delightful. It is almost like you are in France in someone's home. Fantastic restaurant.

The most incredible dining experience I have ever had in San Diego. Service and ambiance was like being in Europe. Cute, charming and quaint little restaurant with only a few tables. The waiter was attentive and extremely friendly. The lobster bisque was to die for and the pate was so tasty and an amazing presentation. Duck was so tender, moist and delicious. Trout was absolutely incredible, delicious and the portions were very generous. The crème brûlée was the best I've ever had and the chocolate hazelnut cake was like eating in an authentic French bakery. Absolutely incredible quality and excellent for the price. Will definitely be back.

I hesitate sometimes to give up my secret spot, because the regulars know how great it is, but I want to be able to get a table! This place has the most wonderful staff, an expert bartender/manager, caring and attentive staff and a wonderful concise menu of amazing quality favorites. Love the Trout, Steak Frites, Duck, Pate, the house salad is wonderful, and a great wine selection!

The food is top notch French with impeccable attention to detail. Service is excellent. Atmosphere is cozy but a little cramped; if even one diner is loud/obnoxious there is not escaping it in this restaurant. Their crab rillettes are a hidden gem.

La Bonnie Table never disappoints. Yo makes the best cocktails and always remembers your name. Just make a reservation and go! You won't regret it. Perfect for small parties of 2 people, 4 max. Less is more in this case.

This place is a treasure - it seats only about 32 folks [when the weather is good for the three tables outside to be included], so reservations are always a "must" and well in advance. Yet it's smallness does not indicate anything small about it's service, food quality and ambiance....it's all wonderful. I have dined here.....A LOT, because it never disappoints. Bon Appetite
A hidden gem!! The onion soup, steak, and pork chop, and crème brûlée were all incredible. Good portion sizes for the price too! Very attentive waiter. Very small and intimate place, I counted only 10 2-tops inside!

I almost did not pick this place because of the spelling mistakes in the names of the dishes in the online menu, which made me doubt their knowledge of the recipes. The menu onsite is correct.

The classics of French cuisine are faithfully presented here, from paté to perfectly cooked filets to several of the most-loved desserts (please add profiteroles!). There are also less common but very authentic choices, like a rich, savory cassoulet.Even more impressive than the delicious food is the impeccably professional service. The servers manage to attend to your every need without ever being intrusive, such as discreetly topping off your water glass. I love that they offer tap water as the default rather than trying to guilt you into paying too much for a bottle of imported water. This is a perfect place for a special date, or really, for any lover of French food.

Last night I had the pork chop, which is what I usually get, because it is absolutely delicious. My companion had the steak which was similarly excellent.
