I moved to San Diego two years ago from the east coast and this was the best burrito I have had thus far.

Did not like their burritos. I also had a stomachache after. So many great choices in San Diego for burritos. I wouldn’t bother going here.

Every Friday, our community does a food truck Friday and we've honestly never gone. Most times, I google the food truck and the reviews aren't great, so we figure it isn't worth it. But this was the first time I saw an all 5 star spot, so we had to give it a try. Their menu was concise with three options: burrito bowl, burrito and tacos. They had four meat options: barbacoa, cochinita, asada and pollo. I decided to get the cochinita burrito and my husband ordered the barbacoa, but the burritos accidentally got swapped and we ate each others. They were both good, but the cochinita was definitely the winner! I'm not usually someone who will eat beans, but I loved the ones they used in this burrirto. They were peruanos and were super soft and tender. I really loved the spicy salsa that it came with. It had a nice kick that was super fun! I really hope La Burre makes it back to our community because their food was delicious!

Wonderful food truck! The service was fantastic and the food was even better. I ordered the salsa verde jalapeño chilaquiles with grilled chicken and was pleasantly surprised by the flavor and texture. I was also very pleased with the portion size and look forward to seeing La Burre at more events!

Delicious, fresh, and flavorful! The cochanita was so juicy and tender and the bread in our mollete was sweet and fluffy. I really appreciated the friendly service and clean seating area as well. Can't wait to come back for the chilaquiles!

They're super friendly and accommodating in a genuine way. Both times I've been there, customer service has been amazingParking: Not really supposed to use the gas stations few spots, but there is street parking just behind the gas station

We had an amazing lunch with La Burre. And will go back many times. It’s simple, fresh, delicious and they had both tasty vegetarian/vegan options as well as scrumptious meat options. Can only recommend! Best chilaquiles!

Clean looking food truck with handmade chips for quality chilaquiles. Tender juicy barbacoa and guacamole added. Decent and very filling portion for the price. I tried the mole sauce which was mild but very flavorful and almost sweet. They don't really make super spicy food here but do have hot sauce. Located in the gas station parking lot most days. May have to come back for breakfast burrito soon...Vegetarian options: All dishes can be made with cage free eggs or vegan protein

Just visited La Burre for the first time and I'm sure I'll be back soon! They offer custom chilaquiles, molletes, burritos, and tacos with an unexpected assortment of salsas and proteins. The menu is so customizable, vegans and vegetarians will have no problem eating here! The owners explained the menu to me and offered a recommendation for my first time, the chilaquiles Suizas with cochinita pibil. Absolutely delicious! The sauce was rich and a little tangy which balanced beautifully with the buttery slow cooked pork. They said this is their most popular dish and I can see why! I'm already thinking about my next visit, maybe a Mollete with grilled chicken and mole . I work near by, so I grabbed my food to go, but they have tables and umbrellas set up if you want to have a seat and kick back and eat onsite.

This is a REAL GEM. This place has restaurant quality food from a truck. The food is LIGHT and FRESH and has a lot of flavor without being oily or salty. The truck was gone for a day for some reason or another and my wife and I were texting about it in panic! Pros: - clean and fresh food - reasonable price for portion size - friendly staff - clean eating area - easy online ordering Cons: - located in a gas station parking lot near two busy streets* *This could actually be a Pro given it is close to where I live and also along driving routes of a lot of people. Also, it being near a lot of cars only is a con if you're like me and go there with a dog and a baby. I realize 99% of people don't give two shits about where the truck is parked. In conclusion, Chilequillas are legit. 5 stars.
