End the Pandemic

I got very bad diarrhea after I ate here in 2 episodes of it. it was very bad I think they slipped some parasite in the food. there were several ambulances driving by while I ate the food as if they knew what's going on. I didn't think this would happen on taco Tuesday. I had emergency

This is my 2nd time at La Fuente. The first time I ordered Birria Tacos and I was pleasantly pleased. Loved it so much I came and ordered another burrito. And IT WASNT the same at ALL this time I ordered the super burrito with carne asada my burrito was ICE cold. Like they never cooked it, it felt like they pulled it out of the refrigerator or freezer. The Raw tortilla didn’t help. There was way too much sour cream and guacamole sauce. So going in for a bite was just a mouth full of cold soggy tortilla with guac sauce and sour cream. Absolutely GROSSED out. I will never come back here.

Employing people who don't care about their job or their customers. Employees on their cell phones in the kitchen, not paying attention to the front end. I was the only customer in the business and the only order they had at the time, and somehow, they still got it wrong. Once I notified the management of their mistake and how it could medically affect me, I was told, "We are human, we make mistakes." He showed little care about the inconvenience as well as writing off his duty and responsibility to quality control. DON'T TRUST THEM WITH YOUR FOOD!P.S. You're hard to deal with when you don't accept their empty apology..

I live near this place and go here often and the food and service is perfect like 4 out of 5 times. The only negatives I can point out is that their Jamaica is too bland most of the time, but the Horchata is fire!!! Every once in a while I might get rolled tacos that are too peppery (with literal black pepper) or maybe some guac that's a little more brown then I care for, but otherwise I love coming here. I am a vegetarian and this place is very accommodating and I will happily walk past other restaurants to come to La Fuente. The photo I attached is Carne Asada fries (with no meat) and they filled that container to the brim!!! I've never been happier. I usually spend $15-$20 each visit and they do have a rewards system! Plus an open salsa bar with several different salsas and veggies. I love the habanero salsa (the orange one). Yes there is seating inside and outside. Sometimes they have really good music playing. They also do taco Tuesdays outside! Take it from someone who lives in the area and comes here often, La Fuente is worth it. That and Colima's down the street are the best 2 Mexican places in Hillcrest.Vegetarian options: You can ask for almost anything to be made without meat. It's a Mexican restaurant. If it's Mexican food, they can make it. Even if it's not on the menu.

I phoned in to place a pick up order. The person that answered the phone acted as if she didn't speak English. I hung up and called again this time there was no issue with her English. When I picked up the order it was ready but I had to ask for the drink that was included in the order. Not sure why the attitude, but I didn't let it disturb me. Will I go there again? Not likely. The food was fine but the attitude with the order; I can spend my money elsewhere. As far as the atmosphere, the place was empty. Maybe that has to do with the customer service.Parking: There was a small lot behind the restaurant. Didn't know it was there at first.

Wrong order, correct order was inedible and cheese was fresh out of the fridge, unmelted. Friend was unable to get a take out box. Expected more from this part of town.

What a horrible experience. Ordered food last night for delivery which was supposed to take 20 min. I waited nearly two hours and every time I tried to call them they hang the phone up on me right away. By the time the food arrived the food was cold.

Staff here is mentally challenged. I got an order and drove here for 15 minutes and when I get here they tell me 15 but it takes 23. Mind u it's a burrito and churros. They have no one in drive thru and four people in the store. So embarrassing for everyone that works here especially the owner

Honestly idk why people hate on this place lol its really fun at night too. could always be cheaper though what happened to classic cheap San Diego taco shops.Parking: park on the side, the street or the back.Wheelchair accessibility: I saw my buddy in an electric wheel chair in here, so I'm assuming it works

They mess up my order so often, at this point it’s either personal or a statistical oddity. On multiple occasions, I’ve watched other customers thatve come in after me order and receive, then eat entirely and leave before receiving mine. Multiple times to check on my burrito, being told to patiently wait, then it ultimately being the cold one on the counter I’ve asked about multiple times.“Open late” is their number one selling point, and now I’m out of points.Parking: Street parking is the quickest option, the parking lot isn’t the best for access, but it is there if necessary.

I ordered an egg, sausage and hash brown burrito and opened up a carne asada burrito when I got home. I was REALLY craving that breakfast burrito so my disappointment is real right now. How do you mess up THIS badly? Only thing I can think of is that they just don't care.
