These are the best artichokes I have ever eaten. Actually this is the best thing I've eaten in a really long time. I'm obsessed with these. They are so soft they melt in your mouth. Yum!!!

I’ve been here several times. I wanted to come a few times before I wrote a review. The staff is very very friendly and it adds to the experience overall.The cost is quite reasonable for the the thoughtfully prepared delicacies of Italy. Plus the wine selection is spot on. Not so many choices that you feel intimidated but enough breadth of a selection to cover all bases. Yum!With the food being so delicious and the friendly staff I’m actually shocked that this place doesn’t have a line down the street. You be happy you came to Arrivederci!

I found my favorite meal in Hillcrest--Farfalle Vodka with Salmon. I've been dining in and taking out for about 4 years now. Our server is always as attentive as we want. I also love being able to order dinner anytime of the day.Parking: Upon immediately passing the restaurant from the 1-way street, turn left into the parking lot. If you can find street parking, the cost is $1.25 per hour.

I was craving some good and authentic italian cuisine , which I was not able to find in San Diego so far.. there are “good” places, but.. just always missing something.Growing up in Europe close to Italy I was there often and in my hometown we also have several Italian restaurants. Let me tell you Arrivederci is the real deal!I was searching on google for Italian restaurants and when I saw the pizza in one of the pictures I knew it had to be good. Decided to make the drive out here and I’m so happy. The atmosphere was great, people talking (also in Italian - now I was sure I made the right choice), laughing, the service friendly and knowledgeable, and the food? So tasty ? Caprese & warm bread as appetizer and then amazing risotto!If you are thinking about going - do it.Thanks again and I will sure be back and highly recommend!PS: if you paid attention I came for pizza which is in their other location ? next time!

The Caprese salad shared between the three of us was a perfect appetizer paired with the warm, rustic Italian sliced bread and fresh tomato spread. The Malbec wine was exceptional with the Veal Osso Buco & saffron risotto. The birthday celebrant enjoyed his Italian beer with his Pork Osso Buco in a port reduction sauce over mushroom risotto, and our friend loved her Fettuccine Primavera in a light cream sauce with added grilled chicken. The surprise birthday tiramisu (served with a lit birthday candle & song!) was delicate, lightly sweet with a hint of coffee & dark chocolate flavor. A favorite special occasion restaurant, this location never fails to exceed expectation in service and food execution. Thank you!
This is the best Italian restaurant in San Diego! Everything is so fresh and delicious! Our waiter Julio was fantastic & recommended the artichoke as an appetizer.... we have been dreaming about it ever since dinner! My husband ordered the lasagna and I got the pesto gnocchi. Everything was absolutely amazing! We can't wait to go back, truly a dining experience.

It doesn't get better than this place, even when it's crazy busy. The staff here works tirelessly and never stops moving. We showed up on time for our reservation but for whatever reason it was not possible for them to seat us right away. While it was frustrating, the staff worked very hard to take our orders quickly and get food in our bellies - they noticed and made it right. Caution for this who are looking for a quiet night out- this place, when packed, is very loud, but the food is worth it.
