Cash only. Food was really good and made fresh. There's always a line but worth the wait.

I’m glad I tried it. It’s a very old taco place that kept it’s old charm.Honestly I expected the food to be better. We ordered chicken tacos and rice with beans. I definitely got better tacos elsewhere but it was decent. Rice with beans was quite tasty. While the place was kept as is for a very long time, I think it’s time to renovate it and make it a lot more cleaner and a bit modern. They could do that and keep the old decor.I highly respect the people who work hard there especially the old lady at the till -)

I love this place! Las Cuatro Milpas is definitely a "no thrills" place, but it reminds you of a simple homestyle meal. A humble place, that always delivers the best yummy Mexican food! This place does get very crowded though and its cash only. Its worth waiting in the line and get yourself some delicious chorizo beans with rice with freshly made hot flour tortillas. You will not be disappointed!

The best food I've had in San Diego. Get there early or else you're gonna wait in line for 1 hour only to find out they ran out of something truly delicious. The tortillas taste exactly like they came out of Mexico ?? BUSSSSING. Can't wait to find a reason to travel to San Diego again just to go eat here

Enjoy this iconic return to the year 1935. The food and service are authentic. Enjoy the wait in line out front and the communal tables and meet some new friends. Limited but absolutely delicious menu. Limited hours of operation. Bring cash, just like in 1935. I'm always blown away by how much I enjoy the food and experience of eating here. A great place to bring out-of-town guests.

Located in the Baranca Logan district.Close to trolley station and about a half mile walk up Cesar Chavez Ave and a left turn at Logan. You can’t miss it due to the line out the door.Menu is simple, cash only.Ample indoor dining, service fast and the food is excellent. Beef tacos are their specialty.

One of the best tacos in the city. Very home style food with a focused menu. They serve pork and chicken tacos, pork taquitos, some really great rice and beans, and chorizo beans. On weekends also have tamales, and burritos and chorizo con huevos. Must visit with your family for simple and delicious Mexican cuisine. Must try for locals and tourists alike!Vegetarian options: Rice and beans is it
