Average Gaslamp cuisine dining.Food erred on the side of Americanized Mexican food. The seafood relleno was good. But the carne asada fries didn’t taste like carne asada and the fries were bland. You get a large spoonful of guacamole for a whole plate of fries.Margarita tower was cute, some good flavors. Otherwise okay.

I just wanted to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received there upon paying of the cheque. We went to have dinner and drinks on February 3, 2024. There were 4 of us and we had ordered a lot - food and drinks, we even got the Patron flights and the truck. Our total bill was almost 300$ and we decided to split the bill. 140$ each. The server had arrived with the handheld card machine to process our card payments. My friend had swiped her card before me and she already tipped. When it was my turn to swipe my card for my share, the server repeatedly asked me if I was going to tip her. She'd seen that I clicked "No tip" on the machine. I told her that my friend had already tipped her and she told me "that was for their side". Which I did not understand since we were all seated together in one table and had only 1 server, which was her. I then shook my head indicating that I wasn't going to tip, she took the machine away with an attitude. I was very displeased by this and I was contemplating for weeks whether to leave your restaurant a bad review or send an email to you about it. I did not understand the way the server acted, firstly we already had a big bill to pay and she wanted 2x the tip for serving the same table. I had never in my life experienced this kind of attitude from a server. I just wanted to let you know and hopefully management finds out about this.Sad to say, I really enjoyed the food and ambiance of the restaurant but I won't find myself coming back to your restaurant again.

The first time I came here, I had the chicken wings. Ever since, it seems I have been on a mission to find chicken wings that freaking good! I don't live in San Diego, so as soon as I knew I was going back, this place was the first stop on my list! The vibe is cool. It can get a little crowded with the weekend pregamers, but we even with that the food and service was timely!

Got the baja fish taco and the enchilida del mar...so AMAZING!! I definitely recommend coming here if you'd like to eat tasty food in good size portions! Also the staff is super friendly and the vibe here is so cute!

Late night snack craving sent us here for some nachos. They were packed with chicken, black beans, crema and cheese. Really good. We did ask for some salsa on the side and the waitress brought us out 3 to try. They were all super tasty but the Smokey one was HOOOOOT! Drinks were soo good and the Mango Cart was a nice change to the Michiladas. The place was super busy and had music playing to make you want to come check it out. Loved the outside seating. Great spot for a happy hour!

Day after update: Those of you that suffer from some form of gluten issues know the next day can be rough. I'm happy to report there were 0 issues with the food. It was so delicious I went back the next day for more tacos. 10/10.I don't have full celiacs but I am Gluten Intolerant. I ordered off of the Gluten free menu. The chips and guac and the al la carte tacos were very delicious. The tacos are full sized so 2 were enough. I would recommend this place for anyone who struggles with Gluten.Dietary restrictions: The menu has a few Gluten free options to choose from.
Solid drinks but if you have curly hair beware of the fake plants in the bathroom bc that sh*t stuck to my hair. Good vibes cool bartenders!

This spot is always my go to when in downtown! Whether it's for yummy food or to pregame. The staff is super hospitable and takes really good care of us everytime we come. Their drinks are on point, they have a fun lava shot tower and a patron bottle drink set! Always plays good music too. I love their quesadillas, fajitas, and wings
