Got the Lasagna and Spaghetti as well as a meat Lasagna but barely got lasagna at all. Very small portion more cheese than meat and noodles. They weren't like this before, so i probably wont be back... Mad because I paid $70 and I'm Hangry!

Sorry to say it was a 1st time to order here. Went by reviews and photos. Took over an hour to deliver. Big portion of. Half half meat lasagna/spaghetti/ordered extra meatball. Not very big. But sauce was too sweet and heavy on tomato paste. Side minestrone soup lacked veggies, garlic bread had no flavor. Overall everything lacked flavor. Sorry but don't recommend. Very disappointed to pay hard earned money for a lack luster meal.

The food is phenomenal. The service is wonderful. The marinara made me sing Puccini and the alfredo made me weep like Pagliacci. The garlic bread alone is why San Diego doesn't have any vampires. Please do yourself a favor and eat here. At least weekly.

We used to love this place. The last time I ordered, I gave the benefit of the doubt, but we ordered last night, and everything was terrible. The pizza sub was clearly cooked in bulk, then frozen for quicker cooking. It just tasted like freezer burn. It was still cold in the middle too. It was disgusting.The pizzas were overcooked. The garlic bread was just a slice of thin stale bread with margarine on it?I'm so disappointed because it used to be one of our favorite restaurants.At least the crows ate it....

I have been ordering from Leona's for quite sometime. I have noticed the salads get smaller and the price go up. I ordered a small Cesar salad. it came in one of those 4x4x3 containers for $11.99. Oh, and no dressing. I also ordered a pepperoni pizza which I never do. literally, there was 2 pieces of pepperoni per slice. well, Leona's I will be moving on from you, where I get my money's worth. I suggest you move along as well if you want your money's worth.

Pretty sure I got food poisoning here. I should have listened to my instincts and abandoned my phone order when I walked in and saw they had a raw chicken in a container just sitting out. Anyways, the pizza was nothing special. But I was on the toilet for the rest of the night and the following day. Would NOT recommend.

I just love take out here! They are open late and the pizza was so satisfying! I love the just enough crust to satisfy this carb lover, sauce tasty. Thank you for all the food love over the past six years I've lived here!
Cheesiest cheese if that's a thing. Friendliest staff to me personally, so that's why this is the only pizza place I go to get the best quality ingredients. I recommend the 4 cheese pizza with pesto sauce instead of regular sauce thank me later ;) switch it up once in a while.Parking: Parking is shared with other businesses but there is street parking and parking in the back of the building and parking across the street. It's worth it.

We ordered the margarita pizza and cheese calzone to go and they both were delicious!! The cheeses used, the crust, the price, and a quick delivery makes this a great Friday pizza night spot

Leona's is an awesome mom&pop gem of SanDiego. The spicy antonio is a killer and the pesto breadsticks are fantastic and are probably better off as a city secret. It's not the cheapest option but definitely worth it for "fast" Italian. Perfect for a take home date night
