Enjoy the food and Ambiance. Love the tea and Coffee Late. The only downside, there is almost always a wait.

The food is amazing, the whole atmosphere is amazing, and I really appreciate the small space they created! It's very cute and quirky. My coworker and I loved it so much that we let our server know we would be back the very next day for breakfast. She was very nice and even recommended a reservation online as they get pretty busy on the weekends. We both had croissants, I had the California & she had the egg. Everything was extremely fresh, including the fruit! Easily some of the sweetest fruit I've ever tasted. Not to mention, sunset cliffs is a few steps away. I do see that other reviews mention the prices. I am here to tell you that the prices are very reasonable and the quality is top tier. I'd pay a few more bucks for a good breakfast with fresh ingredients and great coffee any day over a basic breakfast that you get most other places! Great job Little Lion Cafe

This is my favorite place on earth; the food, ambience, and location is absolutely everything. It does fill up quickly so I'd suggest making a reservation ahead of time. The Farmer's fruit market bowl is so fresh and has a good balance of sweet and tart. The eggs Benedict were so creamy and savory, they were so nice to split it into two plates for us. The side of potato's were fried so crispy on the outside but soft and flakey on the inside. The presentation of the dishes also showed the attention to detail and it was so pleasing to the eye. The store itself is quite small inside but I love the vintage decor and intimate vibe. They also have some tables around the restaurant and it's perfect to feel the beach breeze. The service is always friendly and fast, it's enjoyable experience overall. I go here every time I'm in San Diego, 10/10 would recommend!

Vanilla bean latte with oat milk and a salmon Benedict. It was absolutely amazing; that was the best coffee I’ve had in a while, we even ordered a second cup to go. Kiddo had waffles and they were so light. The flavor was so buttery and light. Saw someone get a croissant, and I’d definitely get that next time. It just looked so appetizing. The staff was friendly. It was such a quaint spot.Parking: We parked in a paid spot a couple feet from the building.

Little Lion Cafe was just the perfect little brunch spot for me. Just a short stroll from Sunset Cliffs, I was able enjoy a nice brunch, and since they were dog-friendly it was an easy stop on our dog walk. The atmosphere is relaxed and cute-casual, but the service was top notch and food was flavorful! I’ll definitely be coming back!Great coffee options too!

We had a lovely Sunday brunch there after hiking to Cowless Mountain. It's a charming European-style coffee shop with a delightful breakfast and lunch menu. Both of us really appreciated the relaxing and soothing atmosphere at the place. It's a cozy restaurant with most of the seating outside the shop. We did wait for about 15 minutes to be seated, but the waitress was cool and friendly. While the service was a bit slow, we assumed it might be due to the number of staff, but we weren't in a rush, so it didn't bother us too much. The highlight was the incredibly fresh food, and we enjoyed both the coffee and our mealCoffee: Belgium Chocolate Mocha & Turmeric Coffee.Breakfast: salmon toast with belgian potatoes as side

Little Lion Cafe has a good vibe and a decent menu. The coffee is super strong and the dishes are prepared to be eye catching. We felt that the dishes were a little pricey for the portion size and I wished that my hot food was hot. But decent overall. I saw an order of breakfast tacos past by that looked good. I plan to give Little Lion another try.

Not many vegan options but good breakfast spot.

My girlfriend and I showed up after hours, and sat in front to pass sometime. The staffers asked if we need anything, and explained they were closed. But since we were just waiting for a ride, they let us hang out for a bit and even gave us champagne shots the help celebrate our anniversary. What they didn’t know, I was proposing immediately after we left there. It was just such a nice gesture, and wanted to thank them for being so courteous instead of kicking us out. It made our life easy, and set the proposal off on a good noteGreat people. 12/10

We stopped here after visiting Point Loma two weeks ago and I am still dreaming about their chia seed pudding!!! It was soooo good and I am going to try to make my own version but I know it won't be as satisfying as this one!
