Milk tea was decent...boba was horrible! Dry and hard. Felt old or thawed from frozen. Would recommend you request to taste the boba first before adding.

I got the brown sugar milk tea with boba... it was a little too sweet for my tastes, but, that's on me for choosing the brown sugar. The boba itself was mushy, which was disappointing. But the flavor on the drink itself was good. The employee at the counter was kind and prompt. The drink arrived quickly, though the shop was practically empty at the time, so I can't speak to how it'd be at more popular times of day. The decor isn't anything fancy, limited seating, but it was a nice, quiet place to chill for an hour.

Located in Hillcrest. It's super small and lovely with absolutely no parking available. You get 15 people in here and it'll be full. I think on beautiful days like the day I came here, it's nice to just grab it and go. When we came we were the only ones here. It was our first time so we took our time trying to figure out what we wanted. The barista was super patient and tried to help us figure out what we wanted. She even said she was bored and would mix flavors that typically she's not allowed to do. That was super cool of her. There's a good vast selection of items to consider. There are coffees, teas, milkshakes and ice cream but that day they couldn't make any drinks with the ice cream which was unfortunate. And of course there is boba! I went with the purple tea which was exquisite. And an Ube tea which was mixed with Jasmine tea which wasn't as good as the purple tea. The entire experience was only 15 minutes (mostly because I had trouble picking one) but it set the tone for the day and it was a lovely time there. 4 stars for the drink. 5 stars to the barista.

First time customers and we ordered 4 drinks, Vietnamese coffee, Thai milk tea, and 2 Ube milk teas. The 2 Ube milk teas we ordered had a weird taste like floral soap. We just threw the drinks away because they were so bad. Waste of money, we will not be returning!!!

Don't come here for boba drinks, unless you bring your own flavoring to add to the drink. We heard about a special they had of buy 1 get 1 free drinks, so we got the matcha milk tea and hojicha milk tea. Came out to be $5 for 2 large drinks + boba. Great deal, except the drinks tasted sooo watered down and lacked flavor. The boba was soft but also flavorless. We had to take the drinks home and fix them with of our own matcha powder and hojicha powder. This made them much tastier.Even with the half off price, we didn't feel the drinks were worth it. We'd rather pay full price elsewhere.Other than that, the decor is cute and staff were nice. I believe the cafe is more known for their soft serve ice creams, which we haven't tried.

I always order a strawberry banana smoothie whenever I go and I've never had such a disgusting one. My sister always gets Thai tea and had to spit it out. The chai blended was tolerable but these drinks are the worst I've ever had. Do not come here for good drinks.

Great boba tea with delicious Taro Milk! The service was great. Although the store was empty, it deserves more customers. It was located at the heart of the LGBG centre of San Diego, so it was very easy to locate and feel comfortable.

cute ambiance and decor, decent tea quality but boba is squishy -- been here twice but consistently tastes like it's been sitting out for a while.. not impressed but i guess it's one of the few boba places you can visit in hillcrest

I live in the Hillcrest area and was looking to have some boba without going too far. Usually, I go to the Convoy area or Mission Valley area as there are some great spots but I was feeling especially lazy. I saw Little Nap Cafe was pretty close by and it looked like it had some pretty solid reviews so I was willing to give it a shot. The spot itself is a nice quiet space that is cute and charming. They have a few tables on the inside, a bar with high seating against the window, and some tables on the outside. I walked in and was greeted by the pleasant staff who were very patient and caring. The spot itself was very clean and cozy to be in. I reviewed the menu and decided to go with a Lavender Milk Tea with boba which I found was just okay. The flavor was very generic like from a powder which is fine, but the issue for me was the boba/tapoica pearls. The texture was very chewy almost felt undercooked and the flavor was bland. I was not a fan of the boba and believe there are better options for the price. They do appear to have food and ice cream that looks good. Will have to do another time as their food options look pretty good and perhaps they are more well-known for their other dessert options.

Great prices, flavorful teas on ice with Boba, lychee jelly, etc. There are food items as well, but I haven't tried them, yet. I usually order a quick Passion fruit green tea, rose milk tea, or lavender milk tea. They are all delicious! Very good customer service - the one in the photo is my favorite; she is sweet, kind, friendly, fast, makes my drinks like I request, and always greets me and other customers with a smile and good personality. ?

Just stopped in here for a bubble tea, but I really liked that they have unsweetened options. Cute little spot, a few little tables. The ladies who helped us were very nice, and the place was clean.

$5.99 for a milk tea, $0.75 for boba topping, $1 extra for a large cup. I asked for no ice and the server told me that would be $1 extra so I said I will take less ice. My cup of boba milk tea was $8.44 with tax, and more than HALF the cup was ice. This is how much ice left AFTER I finished the milk tea. I was appalled. I am from the SF Bay Area, and I'm used to paying $7-8 for a cup of milk tea, but this was ridiculous. Never going back here for a milk tea unless I feel like throwing away my money. We also got 2 pc bao's which were tasty, but also pretty pricey. The baos I can live with, but the milk tea was just too ridiculous. Can you imagine if I didn't ask for LESS ice? Would it just be a cup of ice for me?

Was my favorite Boba place for yrs. Haven't been in a few months. Was craving a tai tea all day, so I made the drive. It was off. Bitter, the milk was weird & the Boba made the drink really warm.

Chill place to hang out with friendly service. They have a large selection of drinks and flavors. Got the basic black milk tea. They couldn't go any less sweet than the 25%, and boy it tasted like 100% sweetness! Other than that, the flavor was pretty strong and I liked the consistency of the tapioca pearls.
