OMG! Had the tamales for the 1st time. We each had 2 but will have 1 next time so good, so filling, so delicious. My mouth waters as I write this review. I'll drive the distance to get more.

I ordered a spread of four different types of tamales, cheese and chicken enchiladas, rice, beans, salsa and guacamole for Christmas. What a wonderful meal. The food was fresh and delicious

Liz cocina was a hit for my 50th Birthday celebration! Top cuts of chicken, carnitas, carne asada, pork and fish! All was well seasoned! Im hispanic and i feel its hard to find good Spanish rice. Liz hit the bullseye it was delicious! Beans, homemade tortillas and salsas where top notch! To top it off the agua frescas Jamaica and horchata enough said total hit on my day! Don't waste your time with anyone else! I booked Liz Cocina 6 months in advance and her communication was spot on! Don't forget to call Liz and order her tamales during the holidays they are to die for i will be calling Liz again for future parties!

Liz is the best! She has such great food and she is always available to sit and talk with her customers which gives it a different feel than the traditional hustle bustle of a Mexican restaurant.

I have been here 6 times since October 1st during business hours and it is never open. Have called several times when inside is open and no one answers. Such a shame, because I have read the reviews and would be a loyal customer.

Liz delivers her unbelievably delicious burritos, tamales, enchiladas & empanadas to my hair dresser in Old Town (Gina at Vanilla who is fantastic!). I snagged her beef tamales and both the green & red sauce chicken enchiladas. We ate all the enchiladas this weekend and they were amazing!

I wasn't disappointed I am from the Bay Area and my family lives in San Diego so I went out on a limb and looked through yelp and ran into this yelp. I was kind eery because there's no website to look for other reviews so I took a chance read these reviews and all were good. Put my order in picked them up for the Xmas holiday. And I must say they were good so every time I come down I will be ordering from Liz. Thank you Liz

I went here looking for authentic Mexican made tamales but found they lacked just that. The owners are very nice and friendly. These just aren't my great aunts tamales.
Fantastic! This is the second time we've used Liz's Cocina for a company luncheon. The food was fantastic once again and the service couldn't be better! I appreciate Liz's Cocina providing such great food and really making my job easier by bringing it to us on time and in good condition for a group set up. Looking forward to enjoy the leftovers later today in our break room. Thank you Liz. Great job!

Our experience with our event was not what was expected. They advertise and promote Street Tacos, but was not a true Street Taco experience. All the food items were pre-cooked and brought to serve, including the tortillas. The food was portioned controlled and over priced. The cost was based on a 40 person minimum, but were told during the serving that no uneaten food would be left, even though the food portions were based on the minimum charge of $400.00 dollars, equaling a half pound of meat per person as was agreed. While the payment of the balance receipt was being exchanged, we were also informed there was an additional charge to cover taxes and tip not previously identified. We will not recommend or use their services again. BEWARE
