I've ordered a burrito here, and I noticed that the prices went up, understandably since minimum wage has gone up, so will the price. Not just the price, I've also noticed the food is smaller in portions, ok.. However; the staff are friendly and the food still tastes great. (Why I give it a 4/5*) I remember coming here ordering the same burrito, and I usually get really full from one, and now I have room for more. After visiting other Mexican food establishments and you want a really good burrito in terms of price, portion, and quality. A place called Vallarta Express Mexican Eatery at Genesee Ave is where it's at.

For a small eatery, this place is very good. Just don't have to use the restroom.

Our family plans for Taco Tuesday every week. I like the chicken tacos, my husband always gets adobado tacos and for our daughter, it's always barbocoa tacos. I docked one star for service because they don't like to let you get chilis or extra limes from the salsa bar on to go orders.

Nice for a quick breakfast spot. So only thing is i asked for hash browns and i figured they were on the side. I get my food and i see a tater tot… then i look inside my omelette and lo and behold.. there’s tater tots inside. Now where I’m from or have always known… hash browns are shredded thin grilled (string-like) potatoes. It’s not a bad thing and i asked the waitress at the counter what she thought hash browns were… she literally said they mean the same thing… hash browns or tater tots… no difference apparently… SMH!!!

Taco Tuesday is quite the deal here. Pollo Asado and Adovada were absolutely delicious together. Will definitely return and maybe get one of those 2.50 XX!

Terrible, I went to buy some corn, it was flavorless, quite dark gray in color, quite old and its smell was unpleasant and I returned the corn and the man who was serving me did not want to return the money, he keeps it and I would not buy palm hearts again.

Small fast casual place with a freat selection. We really enjoyed the chili relleno and fish tacos, and the salsas are fantastic. Portions are pretty big so keep that in mind when ordering! There's a little bit of seating inside and then a decent sized covered patio.

This place is clean, nicely decorated, outdoor seating. I had chilaquiles and they were good, but a bit too spicy for my liking and I wish they also came with rice. The service was good too, I would like to come back to try something else. They have a taco Tuesday special.

Today I arrived at this place for the first time, I ordered a bean and cheese burrito to eat inside, just when I started eating I realized that the beans are cooked with lard; which has been prohibited for a long time... I asked him and indeed if they use lard, and also it hurts my stomach, I shouldn't eat pork. I asked the girl to change my burrito for one with stuffed chile and no beans, and that I would pay the difference, and she told me that it can't be done. Well, what a shame because they keep the money...I usually ask before ordering what they use to cook the beans, this time I didn't ask, I didn't think they used butter. Terrible experience...I will never return, there are several places where they do follow regulations" ?
